Set in contemporary London CANDY follows the story of Joe, a teenage suburban boy, who meets and instantly falls in love with a seemingly innocent young girl from his home town who now lives in London. As their impromptu encounter continues, Joe realizes her situation is much darker then he could have imagined. CANDY explores themes of love, addiction and the responsibilities linked to a loss of innocence as it follows Joe's journey and examines what lengths he is willing to go to rescue CANDY.
