Bloodfist Reviews

Real life kickboxing champion, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, stars as Jake, a kickboxing instructor who goes to Manila to investigate his brother's murder. He stumbles upon a secret organization called the Red Fist, which is holding a kickboxing tournament, and meets Kwong (Joe Marie Avellana), a mysterious artist who knows the secrets of this style of fighting. Jake wants to infiltrate the contest and find his brother's killer, and Kwong decides to teach him some techniques that will help him win the contest. If it sounds familiar, it should, the screenplay being recycled from at least five other kung fu films. Of course, there are only a few kung fu plots to go around, but this film is further hampered by bad acting and obvious budget restraints.
