In 2006, 34-year-old Ben Rogers admitted himself to hospital in an attempt to rehabilitate himself after 18 years of heroin abuse. He died the next day, leaving behind 30 hours of unflinching video footage that he had filmed over the last two years of his life. Months later, Olly Lambert was asked to re-work this footage into the documentary that Ben was trying to make. This powerful film combines Ben's footage with family interviews to try and make sense of the complex life lived by an addict, and the impact it has had on those he left behind.
