A Boy Ten Feet Tall Reviews

When 10-year-old Sammy Hartland (Fergus McClelland) is orphaned after his parents are killed in an air raid in Egypt, the boy sets out to reach his aunt 5,000 miles away in Durban, South Africa. Along the way, he meets Cocky Wainwright (Edward G. Robinson), a grizzled old diamond smuggler, who regales the boy with tales of his checkered past. Cocky proves to be an encouragement to Sammy as he strives to overcome the seemingly insurmountable odds against his completing his walk across Africa. A marvelous and inspiring adventure, the film features a terrific performance by Robinson.
