"It was a mistake, because ya'll know I'm not perfect," Bush Hager said on Today
Jenna Bush Hager is pregnant with her first child, she announced on Wednesday morning's Today show. "We're so excited and [I'm] nervous as a first time mom, but it's something I always wanted," she told co-anchors Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie. "We've been able to keep it a secret ... longer than most."
Some critics have called NBC the Nepotism Broadcasting Company after the news division announced that Chelsea Clinton will serve as a special correspondent for its "Making a Difference" segments. The daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton joins a roster that includes former President George W. Bush's daughter Jenna Bush Hager, a correspondent for Today, and Sen. John McCain's daughter Meghan, a contributor to MSNBC.
Chelsea Clinton will become a full-time correspondent for NBC News, according to The New York Times. The former first daughter will begin her duties immediately and is expected to work on the "Making a Difference" segment of NBC Nightly News which spotlights people who volunteer to improve the lives of others in their community.
