In the opening segment, Randy Orton, Edge and WWE Women's Champion Lita gloated about their victories at Cyber Sunday; footage was shown of their respective wins (including the Edge-Orton win over DX). Eric Bischoff, after "thanking" the fans for their support, announced he was the acting General Manager for the evening, and noted that WWE World Champion John Cena, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H all had the night off. WWE Tag team champions Ric Flair and Roddy Piper to confront everyone in the ring. After the insults flew, Bischoff settled matters by arranging a no disqualification tag team match pitting Edge and Orton vs. Flair and Piper. Also: * A segment showing Cena promoting his latest movie "The Marine," including interviews on "Late Night with Conan O'Brian," "Live with Regis & Kelly," "MAD TV," "The Howard Stern Show" and "The Best Damn Sports Show Period." * Kevin Federline continued to taunt Cena as the hype surrounding their upcoming match for the New Year's Day night "Monday Night Raw" continued. * Backstage, Maria ran into Bischoff and Jonathan Coachman by accident. Bischoff then immediately arranged a match for her against Umaga, warning her that her non-participation in the match would mean she would be fired. * Shelton Benjamin interrupts a private moment between Carlito and Torrie Wilson, claiming that prejudice against blacks influenced the vote in determining Jeff Hardy's vote for his opponent in the WWE Intercontinental Championship match at Cyber Sunday. Afterward, Ron Simmons walked by and said, "Damn!" Match results * Johnny Nitro (w/ Melina) def. WWE Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy to win the title in a no disqualification match. Early in the match, Hardy had won by disqualification when Melina was caught interfering, but Bischoff immediately overturned the referee's decision and declared the match a no-DQ affair. * Spirit Squad members Kenny and Johnny (with Mitch, Nicky, & Mikey) def. Jim Duggan and Eugene; per Bischoff's pre-match stipulations, Duggan and Eugene had to break up as a team. Afterward, Eugene attacked Duggan with his own 2x4 before running backstage. * Maria and Umaga battled to a no-contest when WWE Champion John Cena ran in to save Maria from Umaga's Samoan Spike finishing move. As medics tended to Maria, Cena challenged Umaga to a match and accepted Kevin Federline's challenge. * Chris Masters defeated Jerry Lawler via knockout in an impromptu match. Bischoff had initially ordered Jim Ross into the match (in response to the commentary team's disapproving remarks of Bischoff's actions throughout the show). At first, Lawler wrestled with one arm handcuffed to the top rope (by Bischoff's order, or else he would be fired), but Masters later asked for Lawler to be uncuffed so he could finish the match. * Carlito def. Shelton Benjamin when Benjamin was distracted by Cryme Tyme (guest commentators for the match). Afterward, the two stole Benjamin's necklace and t-shirt. * WWE Women's Champion Lita def. Mickie James; by Bischoff's orders, James had to wrestle with one arm tied behind her back. * WWE Tag Team Champions Ric Flair and Roddy Piper def. Randy Orton and Edge in a no disqualification match when DX interfered. Special guest referee Eric Bischoff was knocked unconscious midway through the match. Post-match: As the heels escaped through the crowd, Bischoff started to regain consciousness when Triple H confronted him and dropped him with the Pedigree. Afterward, Triple H introduced an overweight male stripper named Big Dick Johnson. Both Triple H and Shawn Michaels held Bischoff in place as Big Dick danced, then added insult to injury by shoving Bischoff's face into Johnson's rear, which had "DX" spray painted on it.
