This park with a famous name offers visitors a chance to surround themselves with the beauty of the Driftless Area. Angela sits down with the Park Manager, Michael Watt to chat about recreation opportunities and the history of the park. We also meet an artist using beeswax as her medium for creation, an inspiring mountain climber with multiple sclerosis, a drum maker from the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Anishinaabe and a retired couple making the most of their golden years as campground hosts.

It's a celebration of art, music and dancing as host Angela Fitzgerald visits the Folklore Village. Located in Dodgeville, the campus serves as a place for guests to experience a variety of folk art traditions. There's even an opportunity to visit a historic church and school that sit on the property. Folklore Village Director Terri Van Orman explains more about the community events and classes taught here. Angela also learns about the ongoing effort to restore and rebuild an 1800s log cabin using methods from that time period. We meet the group of interns using hand tools to reconstruct the two story cabin. Then we traverse the state and meet a Chinese restaurateur who shares the cuisine of her hometown to her Wisconsin customers, a coffin artist from Ghana, a hat making company from Milwaukee and a collector of classic arcade games. Also featured is an animated lament on winter.

We're turning back the clock as host Angela Fitzgerald tours the Paine Art Center and Gardens, a historic mansion in Oshkosh. She learns about Nathan and Jessie Kimberly Paine, the affluent couple who built a home honoring the natural resources found in Wisconsin. It's a beautiful work of craftsmanship housing an elegant art collection and ever-changing exhibits. Angela meets up with Laura Fiser, Curator of Collections and Exhibitions, as they delve into the historic past of the building and how it evolved into the landmark it is today. The adventure continues as we connect with a performance poet and artist, an Iroquois raised beadwork artist, an illustrator creating superhero drawings for children with chronic illnesses and two woodworkers who construct wooden toys for children during the holidays.

Winter has arrived as host Angela Fitzgerald takes on the slopes of Granite Peak, a popular ski hill on snowy Rib Mountain State Park. She gets a beginner ski lesson and learns what makes this hill so attractive to skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Then she travels to the top of Rib Mountain to take in the panoramic vistas of Wausau and Marathon County. While embracing the frosty season, she shares stories about two workers at the Sunburst Winter Sports Park in Kewaskum, Milwaukee artist Evelyn Patricia Terry, an iceboat race organizer from Madison and an animated short that follows Ankur Malhotra, co-founder of Amarras Records.
