Episode 1
After Matt's horrific death, everyone is expecting Bec to fall apart. But while her private torment is clear, she shows no overt sign of grief - even at Matt's funeral. Instead, she pastes on a brave face and displays an unnerving vigilance towards Harrison, not even letting Doug look after him. Jenny's adjusting to family life in the wake of the bombshell that there is a new Gross sibling, Sam McKenzie, who it has emerged is Brian's daughter from a previous relationship. The Gross house vibe has changed markedly, their freewheeling banter replaced with a forced politeness as they adjust to Sam. Meanwhile, Sophie planned to postpone her trip to Kenya in the wake of Matt's tragic passing. However, Bec insists she follow it through and when Doug gives her little reason to stay, Sophie heads to Nairobi with no return date locked in. And despite protestations to the contrary, the Jackson meltdown has also deeply affected Frances' sense of security.
Episode 2
Frances worries that Zach may be lured by his sexy female colleague Charlie, despite her own developing a 'friendship' with self defence instructor, Shannon. Sophie is trying her best to pretend she's been enjoying working in Kenya when really the horror she's witnessed over there is taking its toll. Patrick continues to flare up about Mr Gross getting to know his daughter, Sam. But Jenny realises that his anger stems from a deeper issue - his guilt over Matt's death. Meanwhile, Bec finally agrees to go for counseling.
Episode 3
Self-preservation is proving to be a challenge, especially for Frances who is confronted by the siege all over again when she learns that gunman Jackson has been released from prison. Jenny's determined to have the wedding of her dreams - despite her lack of money. Bec's counsellor advises her to take some time for herself. She tells everyone she's going for regular massages but really she's immersing herself into Matt's world even further and in the process is disengaging from Harrison.
Episode 4
Bec finally works through her grief and prepares herself to say goodbye to Matt. But just as she's turned a corner, the secret of Matt and Tiffany's affair threatens to be exposed. The strain of juggling work with primary care of Harrison is taking its toll on Doug, leading him to make a very bad first impression with his new boss, Carla. Jenny is monumentally unimpressed when she learns Callum has been taking part in medical trials to earn extra money for the wedding. Meanwhile, Zach decides to move back to Australia for good. No sooner has Zach left to sort out his affairs overseas than Frances' attention is occupied elsewhere - with Shannon.
Episode 5
Callum stuns Jenny by calling off the wedding. Shock turns to anger as Jenny demands a proper explanation, but Callum is vague and evasive. Sophie reveals the truth to Bec about Matt's affair with Tiffany. Bec's anger at Sophie is quickly replaced by anger at Matt, but Sophie doesn't get off so lightly with Doug who declares that her lying has ruined any chance they ever had of getting back together. As she assists Shannon after his assault, Frances remains blissfully unaware that he's developing romantic feelings for her - but not for long.
Episode 6
Patrick's Full Moon Party themed 21st is on but jealousy is the real theme with the girls. Bec is trying to rid Matt of hers and Harrison's lives for good, but Doug is not so sure Bec has thought it through. Someone from Frances, Sophie and Jonathan's recent past makes an appearance again.
Episode 7
The pressure builds on Frances as Shannon's committal hearing looms. Sophie struggles with Doug and Carla being a couple. When she lets her frustrations show, it leads Doug to reveal the truth about their past to Carla. Bec's anger about Matt and Tiffany's affair is bubbling away with nowhere to go. Flynn's inept efforts to woo Sam force her to realise she does indeed have feelings for him lurking behind her tough facade. Anxiety simmers at the Gross house in the wake of Mrs Gross' decision to invite Anna to family roast night.
Episode 8
After a patient with a suspected case of swine flu is admitted to the hospital, Sophie and Sam find themselves spending the night in isolation with their respective exes. After a night spent in isolation with Doug, Sophie comes to a realisation of her own. Struggling with Doug's blossoming relationship with Carla, Sophie decides to request a transfer to a different ward. Meanwhile, Bec makes a bold life move when she decides to sell the salon. But things become muddled when she realises that she has no idea what to do with her days.
Episode 9
Four friends, branded "the losers" in high school, are thrown back together at their ten year reunion. When they find themselves still hiding from the school bully in the toilets it seems like nothing has changed for them - until fate steps in with a winning lottery ticket. But will their new-found fortune really change their lives or will their losing streak come back to haunt them?
Episode 10
Difficult truths are brought to light as new secrets are concealed. Bec throws herself into plans for Harrison and Aalivyah's first birthday party as an avoidance technique for dealing with where Matt should feature in the celebrations. Callum continues to keep his money troubles a secret. To combat his jealousy about Sam, Flynn asks Sophie to join him on a night out. With Zach and Jasmine in her space once more, Frances feels like she's going backwards. Sam's nervous about her date with Brett, and Sophie's inquisition does little to help.
Episode 11
All the girls are keeping secrets, but someone's about to find their little white lies are more dangerous than they could possibly have imagined. With a fresh sense of closure, Bec starts a blog about her recent experiences. Jenny throws herself into pre-wedding counselling with gusto but, on a downwards gambling spiral, Callum's less keen to bare his soul to the local priest. Sophie's glamorous fauxmance with Nate starts to lose its lustre when Doug appears to be on to their lack of chemistry.

Episode 13
It's Jenny's wedding day but she's not the only one facing a moment of truth. After their fight about Shannon, Frances and Zach are trying desperately to get things back on track but it all feels forced. Sophie's excited about Jenny's nuptials but finds herself still having to tap-dance around the Nate facade. When Jenny asks Sam to do a reading at the wedding, Sam agrees, despite being terrified of public speaking. Bec is concerned that Jenny is going through with the wedding for all the wrong reasons. She tells Jenny as much but Jenny appears accepting of Callum's contrition.
Episode 14
As Zach lies in a coma, Frances' need for answers leads to a shock revelation. Jenny's home from ten days in the US. Her family are expecting her to crumble in the wake of the wedding cancellation, but Jenny maintains she's fine. She's had an epiphany while she was away and is turning a corner in her life. Bec is asked out on a date by hot biker, Jason. Sophie continues to hide her assault from her friends, but Flynn pushes her to confide in them. Meanwhile, Sam is confronted by her feelings for Flynn.
Episode 15
Frances takes her grief over Zach's condition out on Jonathan. Jenny's overzealous concern for Bec's welfare and Sam's love life lead to her revealing what's really on her mind. Doug finds out what happened to Sophie in Kenya and Sam's awkwardness around Flynn continues.
Episode 16
It's time for everyone to let down their guards and live openly and honestly - whatever the consequences. Sophie catches Carla taking pills at the and is unsure how to handle it. Sam bungles many attempts to tell Flynn how she feels and Frances tries to lead a balanced life away from the hospital.
Episode 17
The girls move into new territories as they all consider life outside their comfort zones. During an overnight trip to Sam's childhood farm, it becomes obvious that sex is on the brain for most of the gang. Also, Frances is unsure whether she is up to being Zach's full time carer and after discovering marijuana plants, Bec's convinced she's dating a drug dealer. Meanwhile, Sophie goes over the top in her behaviour to prove she is ease with the engagement.
Episode 18
It's three weeks since Zach emerged from his coma and Frances isn't the only one shying away from difficult truths. Sam looks after a patient whom she believes is a victim of domestic violence but the patient has a different story. Zach is confident about his rehab, despite his weakness. Meanwhile, Jenny tries dating two new guys at once and Bec has her final counseling session.

It's time for the girls to seize the moment and make the best out of what life has dealt them. Bec confronts Ryan about his continued distance and is stunned by his response. Frustrated by the awkwardness between her and Flynn, Sam throws herself into work and finds herself drawn to a cancer patient, Adam. Meanwhile, Jenny has an interview but a photo could ruin her chances and Sophie makes a mess of her date with Evan.
Episode 21
The girls head down paths previously travelled with fresh perspective. After receiving a bad medical prognosis, Zach gives Frances at 'out' forcing her to make a decision about their relationship. Desperate for work, Jenny returns to familiar surroundings.
Episode 22
All the girls are facing difficult choices - but just how much are they going to have to give up to get what they want? Sophie grows attached to a drug-dependent baby whose addict mother has disappeared. Loved up Frances wants to show Zach a sign of her commitment and Jenny attempts to take her flirtation with coworker Gabe to the next level.
Episode 23
The girls are grappling with forbidden love; Ryan's off limits to Bec because of his job, Jenny's Gabe has a girlfriend, and Doug's with Carla now. After Sam ignores Adam's instructions about his care, he ends their friendship, forcing Sam to reconsider her true feelings. And unbeknownst to Frances, after Zach found her hurtful text message, he's planning to leave. Is this the end for them?
Episode 24
Changes are sweeping through all the girls' lives, whether they like it or not. Convinced Doug still has feelings for her, Sophie decides to sabotage his engagement party. Bec is shocked when Ryan tells her of a new job offer and Frances buries her hurt over Zach. Adam's parents turn up unexpectedly and Jenny's family home may be selling.
Episode 25
Laying it on the line is the order of the day as each of the girls face life-changing dilemmas. Sophie's plan to break up Doug and Carla backfires when the happy couple make a surprise announcement at their engagement party. At Sam's request, Flynn takes up the legal fight against Adam's parents. Jenny prepares to move out of her parents home while Patrick and Jasmine depart for Europe.
Episode 26
All good things must come to an end. For Bec, Jenny, Frances, Sophie and Sam, the end of the road is nigh in more ways than one. But with change comes new beginnings - plus more than a few surprises. As Bec says her final goodbyes and prepares to begin her new life, there's much cause for reminiscing. Jenny is a mixture of trepidation and excitement as she prepares to leave the Gross House for good. Sophie develops a crush on Sam's brother, Luke. As Sam gets excited for the wedding, a letter will turn her world upside down. Meanwhile, Frances throws herself back into her life as a career-driven woman but a shock discovery could change everything.
