Wilfred and Adam enter a competition with each other to decide who is the happiest. Along the way, Wilfred falls under the spell of a sexy cat as Adam and Sarah decide the best way to sort out their relationship problems is to get married. The proposal goes awry and Wilfred's burgeoning relationship with the cat hits a snag when she accidentally laughs. It's hard to see who's happiest through eyes full of tears.

Dog of a Town: Part 1

Adam wants to do the honourable thing and ask Sarah's dad permission to marry his daughter. Problem is, Sarah's parents live in Nambour, Queensland. After an eventful train-ride and some hitchhiking they arrive in Nambour and are confronted with Sarah's nudist parents and Wilfred's disapproving dad, Arthur.

He quickly becomes Obese Wilfred and needs to go to rehab where he and Adam come under the tutelage of world-renowned dog nutritionist and behaviouralist, Dr Cynthia Minelli. Sarah comes back to find a g-string in her bed.

Adam wins a skiing holiday for he and Sarah and "the family" head-off to the mountain's top resort. Adam gets lost in a snowstorm and is forced to spend the night in a hole. The next morning he finds sanctuary in the remote cabin of Swedish couple Lars and Hilda who promptly invite him into their giant spa.

The Dog Father

Wilfred is romancing Caddy, one of the local dogs, while Adam and Sarah receive a visit from Adam's extraordinarily good looking and clever brother, Spencer, with the expected consequences. Sarah takes Spencer's spiritual preachings, wisdom and looks so seriously that it starts to undermine her relationship with Adam. Things are at their most precarious when Caddy discovers she's pregnant. Wilfred joins Adam in a bout of emotional freefall.

Sarah's pissed-off that Adam still doesn't have a job, as she doesn't want to marry an unemployed guy. Wilfred sees a dog that looks like him on a television commercial and wonders why he's not on a television commercial. Wilfred decides he wants to be a dog star and gets Adam to manage him. Sarah doesn't want a bar of it - she doesn't like people who exploit animals for financial gain. But this doesn't deter our heroes.

Bite Club

Adam needs to find some money for the rings as Sarah is adamant - no rings, no wedding. Wilfred reckons he'll be able to earn the money by taking part in an illegal dogfight on the mean streets of Richmond. Adam enters him in such a fight and Wilfred gets clobbered by a towering Doberman called Kosciusko. Kosciusko feels sorry for Wilfred and tries to train him up to become a fighting machine. But does Wilfred have enough talent to win?
