This was a so-so night for the panel as they had a .500 record for the night. Ironically, the night started off with a bang as Arlene pulled a solo in guessing that the first contestant dealt with masks. Of course, being close to Halloween, the producers thought that they would pull a fast one in putting the obvious Halloween contestant on the show. However, Arlene saw right through it and performed magnificently. Unfortunately, in the second game, the panel was utterly stumped by the female boxing promoter. However, they probably shouldn't be blamed, due to the fact that Aileen Eaton was the only woman working in such a predominately male-oriented field. Things did get better in the mystery guest round as Bennett correctly identified Yves Montand. Yves was on the show to promote his one-man show, "An Evening with Yves Montand." John also commended Yves for appearing on the show even though he hadn't yet mastered the English language. The panel came crashing back down to earth in the final game as they failed to guess that the contestant worked as a skywriter.
