The Gentle Liar
Ji-han schemes to make his older brother, Do-han, the family successor and eagerly awaits his return. Their friend Na Ah-jung, pretends to be a successful actress, hiding the truth about her real circumstances.
Episode 2
Completely Different Brothers
Ah-jung receives a marriage proposal from Do-han but, is confused when she wakes up in Ji-han's home the next morning. There, Ji-han reveals that Do-han is the heir of the LJ Group and a third-generation chaebol, leaving Ah-jung in shock.
Episode 3
A Role Only I Can Play
Ah-jung tells Do-han she'll marry him but feels conflicted, unable to reveal the truth to her family, who believe she landed a drama role. Meanwhile, Ji-han regrets pushing their marriage forward with his actions but tries to make amends.

Heart Fluttering
Do-han and Ah-jung secure the approval of Hyun Dae-ho, Do-han's grandfather and LJ Group chairman, for their marriage. However, Ji-han, determined to stop it, takes Ah-jung to Busan, hoping to charm her and make her fall for him instead.

As Do-han's ex-lover reappears, Ah-jung deals with a drunken Ji-han. The next morning, Ji-han wakes at Ah-jung's house, sparking an argument about the night before. Suddenly, Do-han arrives, leaving them both stunned.

Ji-han develops feelings for his brother's fiancée A-jung. Seeing them together pains him, driving his desire to stop their marriage. A-jung senses Ji-han's unease as she and Do-han plan to introduce their families.

Ji-han accepts A-jung and Do-han's marriage, but A-jung feels uneasy. Reporters surround her home, forcing her to flee to Do-han's place. The three begin living together, leading to tension.

After learning Do-han's secret, Ji-han decides to stop the wedding for Ah-jung's happiness. Torn by his actions, Ah-jung returns to her family to sort out her feelings about her relationship with Ji-han.

Ji-han and Ah-jung realize their feelings for each other. Confused about her feelings for Do-han, Ah-jung spends a day with Ji-han at the beach, enjoying their time together and deepening their connection.

What I Want to Protect
Ji-han is shocked to learn Ah-jung and Do-han's marriage is fake. Ah-jung wants to talk to Ji-han, but he distances himself. Meanwhile, Do-han, aware of their relationship, insists on continuing with the fake marriage.
Episode 11
Each Person's Decision
To protect Ah-jung and Do-han, Ji-han takes on everything and disappears. Overwhelmed with feelings for him, Ah-jung confesses the truth to her family. Meanwhile, Do-han makes a decisive choice in response to Ji-han's actions.
Episode 12
How have you been?
A year later, Ji-han reunites with Ah-jung on the anniversary of his mother's death. Though they've both been thinking of each other, they haven't expressed their feelings. Encouraged by Do-han and his grandfather, Ji-han goes to Ah-jung.
