For Carsten Heinrich it is clear that it was the wife - but the police are skeptical and are secretly investigating on their own. The dead man was involved in criminal activities. Is that why he had to die? Suddenly Ruben van Dijk, the father of police captain Frank, turns up in Duisburg. Did he have anything to do with the crime? After all, he had a fight with the murdered man. But Ruben has another reason for his visit to Duisburg and makes a confession to his son, which has surprising consequences for Frank.
