The Polish tugboat operator Jakub Bocian is found dead in the southern harbor. He has evidently spent the night on his tugboat - but not alone. In addition, his entire cargo, 1500 tons of aluminum worth two million euros, has disappeared without a trace. Jakub's client Arnd Köhler is shocked. The future of his company depends on this business. It is clear to him who Jakub's murderer is: someone who is able to steal a huge cargo barge and make it disappear will not shy away from murder. While Fahri and Marlene are looking for the cargo, Paula and Jasmin are increasingly focusing on the dead man's private contacts. It turns out that Jakub Bocian's nighttime visitor was Arnd Köhler, of all people. And not for the first time. What do the two have in common? What does Arnd's wife Tatjana Köhler know? And what role does Gunnar Böhnke, Tatjana's ex-boyfriend and father of their daughter Melissa Köhler, play? Since his release from prison, Gunnar has been living with the Köhler family in the newly built villa. Evidence is mounting that the solution to the case must be found in the mysterious Wedding past of all those involved. In addition to the investigation, Jasmin's team is facing a change. Paula is pregnant and will therefore spend more time at the station and less time on field duty. In Paula's friend Federico's restaurant, the WaPo troop's regular haunt, Federico is now being actively supported by the former owner of the "Hafengrill" Gisela Heinze. And of course, as a native Berliner, Gisela is expanding the previously Mediterranean menu to include meatballs and potato salad.

But when the managing director Enno Koopmann is found stabbed to death, it becomes a puzzling case for the police and a very personal one for Jasmin. After the first investigations on site, Noyan Moschiri, one of the company's employees, disappears without a trace and thus comes under suspicion. While the manhunt is underway and investigations are being carried out in the area surrounding the factory, Jasmin feels reminded of her own brother, whom she last saw 30 years ago, by the fact that Noyan has gone into hiding. Is Noyan really Jasmin's brother? The suspicion is growing that Noyan could be involved in illegal business around the factory. Or has he gone into hiding because he wants to protect his son Danial Moschiri, who works as a trainee in the boat factory? At the same time, the WaPo team is investigating at full speed to rule out the possibility that the perpetrator does not come from the factory's environment. Jasmin has to draw a clear line between her personal interests and her work in order to solve this case.

A man falls out of the window of an office building into the Spree and dies. The police quickly find out that it was no accident. The man was the managing director of the K&K courier service, Manfred Kerner, and was allergic to wasp venom. As it turns out, he was deliberately locked in after being stung and left to die. In a desperate attempt to reach the neighboring office with the life-saving emergency syringe over the window ledge, he fell into the depths. A number of K&K employees are now the focus of the investigation. Nicole Deetmers, the office manager, had been on a date with Manfred Kerner months before she was hired - a coincidence? Phil Koslowski, the young, dynamic business partner of the victim, described as straightforward, had modernization ideas such as courier trips on jet skis, which Kerner did not share unreservedly. Deniz Akan, a courier driver who Kerner fired on the eve of his death. And last but not least, Waldemar Zwiesler, Kerner's childhood friend with a criminal record and a mechanic at the company. The old friends had a heated argument just a few days before the crime. At the same time, Paula is dealing with a compensation lawsuit against the K&K company, which involved a dead courier driver. A new lead? In the end, the WaPo reveals a sad and surprising secret about a failure to provide care and compensation.

During an alcohol test on Lake Müggelsee, Wolf and Fahri make a gruesome discovery: the body of a young woman lies on the deck of a cutter, strangled with her own scarf. The drunken skipper claims not to know the dead woman and has absolutely no explanation for how she got onto his boat. In fact, the WaPo team determines that the woman was already dead when she was pushed off a bridge and fell onto the cutter. Laura Siebert, as the woman is called, is no stranger to the police: a fraudster who recently swindled deaf and hearing-impaired people by selling them a completely useless but expensive hearing aid - and thus stole several hundred thousand euros. The money initially remains missing. Did Siebert's murderer take it? Was it an act of revenge by one of her fraud victims? The case soon becomes a personal challenge for Marlene: she believes that she recognizes the hand of her father Henry Weber, with whom Marlene broke off years ago, in the fraudulent actions of the murdered Laura Siebert. The reunion with her father opens old wounds for Marlene. She increasingly suspects that Henry is involved in the matter - and the young investigator becomes more and more emotionally involved in the case. Jasmin's team finally brings the truth to light - and Marlene has to make a momentous decision.

The 19-year-old environmental activist Alina Kaufmann is found lifeless in the Havel. Clear injuries indicate a violent crime. Alina was a leading figure of "Do more!", an environmental movement that has made civil disobedience its mission. Its activists have currently set up a protest camp in the Berlin forest, not far from where the body was found. They want to prevent the tree felling for a new luxury residential complex. It turns out that the victim left the camp in the middle of the night. But why? Was she meeting someone? Did she know her murderer? Alina's views and behavior have become increasingly uncompromising and radical in recent months. For example, she had severely attacked Christoph Baumgarten, the urban development and housing officer responsible for the luxury residential complex, by publishing a secretly recorded argument. And also with Jimmy Gätke, her closest comrade in "Do more!" On the day of her death, she had a heated argument: Jimmy wanted to take a more moderate course without her knowledge and negotiate with a clear opponent of the activists. Yusuf Cevikus, also in the movement, knew about it and supported him. For him, Alina had long been too extreme and Jimmy was the better leader anyway. Ultimately, Michelle Winter, an activist from the very beginning, sees everything very differently. For her, there was always only Alina - and perhaps that was exactly the problem. In the end, Jasmin and her team draw the right conclusions and come across a tragic mistake.

When a skeleton is found in the depths of Lake Müggelsee, Jasmin and the police investigation team are called in. The investigators discover that it is Sonja Gräwe. She disappeared from Neukölln 15 years ago in her mid-20s - and was pregnant at the time. Sonja's violent boyfriend, Dennis Sauer, was blamed for her disappearance and convicted of murder after a circumstantial evidence trial. The police investigation team is reopening the case based on the new evidence. What exactly happened on the night of Sonja's disappearance? Did she give birth to her child before her death? And was Dennis really the perpetrator? Ex-convict Dennis turns out to be reformed: He has renounced violence, drugs, and alcohol and instead practices yoga. He continues to claim not to have committed the murder. Sonja's mother, Petra Gräwe, owner of a Neukölln nail salon, is behaving extremely conspicuously. She has a second daughter, Emily. She's 15 years old and the spitting image of Sonja. Jasmin and her team are also focusing on Sonja's then-best friend, Kristin Ortler. Kristin had heavily incriminated Dennis back then. Was she trying to distract from herself? When it emerges that Sonja was likely having an affair, the case takes a decisive turn.

Ava Kleiner organizes an illegal fishing contest on the Spree River and is shortly afterwards recovered dead from the water. It quickly becomes clear: her death was no accident. Did the young woman run into militant animal rights activists, and did the conflict end fatally? A few hours before her death, however, there was also a heated argument with her neighbor Frank Pleiß, a passionate angler and real estate developer. Pleiß admits to the argument but claims nothing to do with Kleiner's death. The dead woman's husband, Ben Kleiner, also comes into focus. Although he professes his great love for Ava, the investigators discover that he had a good motive for getting rid of his wife. To discover the true drama behind it, the WAPO team must delve into the victim's psyche. A case that is particularly challenging for Paula. Thus, the team pieced together the puzzle piece by piece and discerns the entanglements of a family drama centered around the dead woman's sister, Maike Rodetski. A dispute over their parents' inheritance has divided the sisters: a fishing shop with lucrative property right on the water. The two women wanted different things, and there was no compromise. Thus, a disastrous dynamic began, at the end of which no one is blameless, not even the victim. But who is truly responsible for Ava Kleiner's death?

It was supposed to be a memorable birthday party: former musician and laundry owner Dagmar Hagemeister is meeting her former duo partner Trudy Stritter for her 70th birthday. They enjoyed great success as the "Blues Duo Buchholz" in the GDR and beyond. A dispute ended that. And now Dagmar's daughter Anja Hagemeister has organized a reunion... which ends with Dagmar floating dead in the water. The WaPo is confronted with the story of the legendary duo and looks behind the scenes and deep into the abysses of the former friends. Both Trudy, Anja, and Trudy's son and manager Karsten Stritter each seem to have a motive for murder. It involves adultery, oppression, and a lot of money. A brewery wants to re-record the old hit "Against the Wind Blues" and use it as advertising music. Jasmin and her team are faced with enormous challenges, as the three suspects stick together, making the investigation a difficult task. Especially since the police chief also gets involved in the case and is much more than "just" a police officer. In the end, the police finally have to realize how deep hatred and wounds can be, even beyond death.
