Enthusiastic average joe, Walter Melon, and his geeky best friend, Bitterbug, work as "heroes for hire" standing-in for various famous heroes from fiction when they have accidents or are unable to save the day for some other reason the show's arch-villain is usually responsible for. Loosely based on the French comic strip "Achille Talon."
