They Started It

The Walkers try to put the past behind them, when something from their past comes back. Specifically, their old neighbors, the Davidsons, who move back and they have an impact on all of them. One of them, Denise, an old friend of Cordell, is the new D.A., which doesn't make Liam happy. Her son, Colton, goes to August and Stella's school and picks a fight with them, that has them sent to the principal and their parents are called in. Cordell is worried about Micki, who continues on her assignment to find who wants Cordell dead. Captain James wants her out, but she says she is close and wants to stay under. There appears to be a secret that Cordell is keeping from his family about why things are tense between the two families.

Colton Davidson and Todd fight over undecided Stella, coach Trey Barnett makes them make up and intends to join the Texas Rangers after the school year. Denise Davidson is less keen on a reconciliation than Geri.

Having dumped one lover, Stella goes hiking with winner, Colton Davidson only to go is missing in the huge natural reserve. The families have truce to collaborate on the search, with Auggie, who gives up his own romantic trip, but gets into worse danger himself. Having met over fine beverages, Liam and Ben Perez become gay lovers.
