Nik is a brilliant and cherished psychiatric nurse at Wakefield Hospital in Australia's majestic Blue Mountains. Among the patients under his care are James, a successful businessman recovering from a psychotic break and Ivy, a sympathetic mother suffering from postnatal depression. However, when a song gets stuck in Nik's head, it triggers deeply repressed memories he can't shake. Meanwhile, Linda, his unit manager, lands in hot water following a public act of vandalism and Nik applies for her job. Series premiere.
