Archaeologists discover a mass grave in England dating back to the 13th century. In an attempt to uncover the cause of death, scientists discover clues that lead them to believe a massive volcanic eruption led to the cooling of the earth and a mass famine. Scientists then use data retrieved from Greenland ice cores, pumice age, and written records to uncover the source of the volcano. Which leads them to a long forgotten mountain in Indonesia, which is still active today.
