'Out of the Frying Pan' / 'Deliverance' / 'With Friends Like These'. A Californian couple decide to build their new home in a forested area, but when a major forest fire threatened, the husband ignored a Fire Marshall's warning to leave. Unluckily, their house caught fire and was found burned to the ground, but where were the couple forced to find safety from the all consuming fire. / A small town mayor found a delivery on his doorstep, thought nothing of it and took it in. Very quickly his house was invaded by a heavily armed SWAT team and police who want answers about the contents of the box. The box was packed with cannabis, but why was it left at the door of an innocent man. / Something has come between two friends - the girlfriend of one of them. In bizarre circumstances, one of them stabbed the other, but was their claim true that there was a pact for one to stab the other to death as an assisted suicide.
