For this new "Chroniques" saga, we find ourselves in North America, home of the bison and grizzly bear. A magnificent and hostile land where one can hunt hoards of wolves or have a magical meeting with a moose, the discreet and majestic giant. Furthermore, we will find the streams on which the beaver builds its dams. We will also meet the mysterious wolverine and the legendary puma, also known as the mountain lion, who is probably the most deadly of all feline predators.

Messenger on Sacred Ground

The birth of the wapiti calves marks a new season. Mountain sheep and mountain goats also give birth. Beavers begin building and shoring up with their dams.

Huntress

Young coyotes are strong enough to hunt with the adults, and grizzly bears find nourishment in the bays of Knights Inlet. Meanwhile, the extreme heat of summer forces many animals to higher altitudes, while mountain goats descend in search of salt.

The Race Against Winter

Rutting season for elk in Jasper; mating season for moose in Elk National Park; mating confrontations between male mountain sheep. Also: grizzlies prepare their dens for hibernation.

The ungulates descend into the valleys in search of food; bison dig under the snow looking for food; wolves and coyotes prepare for mating season; and male wapitis begin to grow antlers.
