Emma also wants to get involved to be more immersed in the family's new political life. Barry and Molly's plans of attack may not be as incompatible as they appear on the surface. Sammy is angry about the situation, especially as Barry had the opportunity to let Ihab die. Feeling like he can't turn to his family, Sammy turns to his professor for more than just emotional support. Meanwhile, Fauzi meets Daliyah for the first time. While Fauzi is still angry with Barry for his role in Samira's death, Fauzi tries to come to some understanding of his world, including his daughter's radicalization.
