Episode 1

Headed by Ian Fletcher,the man responsible for the urban regeneration of Manchester,the Olympic Deliverance Commission prepares London for the 2012 games. As devoted secretary Sally serves tea a core group discuss how to minimise traffic congestion and head of contracts Nick Jowett falls out with dozy P.R. bod who freaks out at a green alarm clock symbol for the games but cannot think of a sportsperson to open it. Head of sustainability Kay Hope is equally inept at finding a Tae-Kwando venue that can be used after the games. Even worse the website designer for the games cannot spell,the traffic congestion is anything but minimised and,as the countdown begins,the green clock runs backwards and not forwards in time.

Episode 2

The Brazilian delegation arrives to view the Olympic site but the viewing is delayed as their coach driver seems to think they want to go to his home town of Nottingham. On board the coach Kay takes a call from her son's school to report his bad behaviour and clueless P.R. consultant Siobhan Sharpe makes a pig's ear of translating the itinerary. Eventually the coach makes it back to London but traffic works cause another delay so it is nothing short of a miracle that the guests meet organizer Sebastian Coe.
Episode 3

With 874 days to go before the opening ceremony the team find themselves locked out of their office due to a security update. Further problems arise when it is discovered that the prospective aquatic centre is to be built on the site of a Roman burial ground and will have to be relocated. Kay proves herself hopeless when it comes to using a video camera to promote the games but,worst of all, Graham has to devise new flight paths to avoid air congestion,meaning that the nearest terminals will be Dungeness and Sizewell.

Episode 4

Siobhan launches her Raising the Bar campaign to interest school children in the games through lectures by former silver medallist Dave Wellbeck. Sadly Dave is a truly hopeless public speaker and Siobhan sends him to gain inspiration from ex-actor Jason Topper. He does not improve though and ends up giving lectures in retirement homes instead. Kay stands firm against opposition to her retaining a wind turbine on site.
Episode 5

Ian and his team interview candidates for the post of curator of the cultural Olympiad. They make their choice out of the three pseuds short-listed but,due to political correctness,they are told to alter their decision,not once but twice. They are also required to run in the London Marathon.which leaves Siobhan on crutches,Kay with chafed nipples and Ian with a fit of flatulence though - as his marriage crumbles - he does get to go on a date with Sally.

Episode 6

Tony Ward,an eccentric,foul-mouthed film director,launches a one man protest against the equestrian events being held in Greenwich Park by dumping horse manure,at first outside Ian's office and then outside his house,which does little for his fractured relationship with his wife. Nor does Sally buying him new clothes after his wife has locked him out help. Kay does her bit for ecology by trying to save the stag beetle but Ian ends up in a live radio broadcast with Ward,which is ended before any points can be made. The equestrian events are approved but Ian ends up living with his sister.
