A brilliant cop, Adam Belmont is on the trail of a serial killer raging in the region. The victims are a series of young girls, killed in the same fashion. Tackled by the affair, he does not have time to take care of his teenage son, Victor, despite the encouragement of his ex-wife, Chloe. While the investigation stalls, for Adam everything changes: he miraculously survives a bullet in the head. The only complication is that he is now suffering from amnesia.
