Bumblebee is an energon scavenger. He was hired by the Autobot to search energon for them. While searching with Wheeljack, they were trapped by a bunch of decepticons. Optimus Prime arrived on time and saved their lives with the help of Elita. After returning to the base, Prime had an argument with Ultra Magnus that the latter holds the position to accept the treaty of the Decepticon and surrender. Magnus left the base because of this and was planning to negotiate with Megatron to stop the war.
