Fury

Thu, Sep 14, 200622 mins

Megatron is underground with the rest of the Decpticons contemplating why he lost his battle with Gigantion leader Metroplex. All he thinks about is power and getting revenge on the Autobots. In his quest for ultimate power, the power that he feels he should rightfully have he decides to try and draw power from the Gigantion's cyber key. This new quest for ultimate power causes a mist to engulf his entire body and thus he goes on a mad hunt for an adversary that is worth fighting. Meanwhile Metroplex and Quickmix still insist that they are willing to help aid the Autobots in their search for the Giant Planet's cyber key but they remind the Autobots that no matter what they cannot go back to a city once they've abandoned it. Lori then figures out that after the data from the old city's computers are deleted and stored on disk for future prosperity. Jetfire then figures out that they have to go back to one of the older cities. Indicating that Jetfire's powers of deduction are impressive the Autobots split up into teams to look for the city data that will lead them underground. Wing Saber and Coby are flying around in the air just to show off. Jetfire then yells at Wing Saber to stop showing off. Lori doesn't understand why Jetfire and Wing Saber bicker all of the time but it seems like they're two old warriors whose story has no beginning and has no end then Lori wonders if they should break it up. Evac says that they should settle it themselves and he tries to catch up with them. Optimus Prime communicates with Jetfire and his team. Jetfire stammers before he tells Optimus that his team hasn't found anything yet. Optimus tells Jetfire to get back to his mission. Vector Prime warns Optimus that he has tried to communicate with Landmine and his team but they have not reported in yet. Optimus Prime tries to communicate with Landmine and his team but they are unable to communicate back because all three have been knocked out cold. Optimus Prime and Metroplex go out to assess the situation and he finds that all three of his strongest Autobots have been knocked out cold. Metroplex mentions that there has been no collateral damage to any of the buildings that are nearby meaning that the beatings were quick and painless. Meanwhile we see Override in a race with another bot but she is unable to outrun the mysterious stranger who rams her and knocks her high enough into the air for Quickmix to catch her. Quickmix puts Override on the ground before he engages the enemy an attempt that is all in vain as the mysterious stranger is strong enough to smash Quickmix into the ground. Metroplex comes across Quickmix, who has been smashed into the ground, and Override who's been knocked out and barely there before Optimus and Metroplex can get there. Metroplex wonders who could have been strong enough to smash Quickmix into the ground the way that he was found. Optimus lifts Override up and asks her who did this to her. She whispers Megatron.... He's upgraded before she passed out. Vector Prime then warns that it's not safe to keep the team separated for much longer. Optimus agrees and decides to call the rest of the team back Meanwhile we see the Cybertron Defense Team all being knocked out by the strange entity. Glavatron complains that the Autobot underlings are not challenging enough for him. Galvatron goes looking for another challenge. Meanwhile we see Lori and Coby searching for the planet data that will lead them underground but Jetfire tries to put an end to the mission saying that Optimus has called them back. Coby asks for five more minutes to find the planet data. He comes out of the long corridor covered with soot on his face. Lori tries to clean him up a little bit before Wing Saber warns Jetfire that they have unwelcomed company. Wing Saber and Evac try to buy Jetfire some time to get Coby and Lori out of the danger zone but both are smashed into the ground. Galvatron tries to threaten the children by holding Jetfire's head up against the wall. He then starts walking towards Coby and Lori but Jetfire tries to stop him telling him that "only cowards attack children.". Galvatron knocks out Jetfire like he was a rag doll. Optimus shoots at the entity referring to him as Megatron but he says that Megatron is "no longer here." He continues to speak saying that Megatron is "weak." Ransack asks "If you ain't Megatron no more then who are you?"? He's called "Galvatron." Optimus is unimpressed by Galvatron's speech telling him that there is more at stake than his ego. Galvatron first scraps with Metroplex yanking his weapon away and then using it against him. Then Vector Prime goes after him with his sword which ends in VP getting knocked to the ground too. There's only one Autobot left..... Optimus Prime. Optimus scraps with Galvatron. He easily knocks Optimus Prime to the ground but finds that the Autobot leader won't go down as easily as the others did. Galvatron then uses a weapon of mass destruction and sends it against Coby and Lori but Optimus blocks his attack. Galvatron wonders why Optimus would throw away his life so recklessly in order to protect Coby and Lori? The answer is simple. He had made a promise to Coby, Bud, and Lori's parents: that no harm would come to their children. Metroplex throws Optimus his ax which he tries to pick up. Galvatron mocks him by telling him that he has no hope of picking up Metroplex's ax. Optimus gathers up enough strength to summon Metroplex's cyber key and to give him the energy to pick up Metroplex's ax. With the old Autobot heave-ho Optimus picks up Metroplex's ax and takes a swipe at Galvatron with it. The other Decpticons notice that Galvatron had been wounded in the battle and they try to help look after him. Galvatron warns Optimus that one lucky swipe doesn't mean that he's won. He and the other Decpticons say their good byes. Soundwave is watching overhead and notices how interesting his findings are. Back on the Autobot ship they notice another ship. The Atlantis has landed in a deep crevice. Coby vows to get his brother and the other two minicons out of the ship if it's the last thing he ever does.
