As Emma and Daniel have completely gone from the area, as in the last episode, the storyline revolves around SIFA and the Police. This time tracking down the Bomber painstakingly step by step. The last episode ended with the Bomber blowing up an 'in' bar for youngsters this one starts with the devastation of that bomb. Professor Torrence is still having problems with the Dean and also her student. DCI KcKinven admits to his wife that he is in love with Prof. Sara Gordon, he calls her, she invites him over and they get it on for the 1st time. However when he tells her after that he has left his wife she goes crazy with him and is deeply unhappy with it all. By interviewing the injured youngsters they understand that all the dating in that Bar is done on apps and they find with Holly that she was expecting a real hunk which of course was a fake date, however McKinven asks her to show all the guys she rejected and they recognise one of the Dundeeats riders. The noose tightens as they rush around trying to find him and eventually locate his flat with all the bomb making equipment and also plans for Bomb #5.
