Episode 1
One challenge that all the competitors know is coming is happening in the first episode, surprise. The competitors will work in a Michelin starred restaurant and serve Michelin starred chefs and restauranter's in addition to the diners.
Episode 2
The Quickfire Challenge is the Top Chef Canada Skills Competition, the Elimination Challenge is a dish inspired by a first in each of the competitors lives. After the two challenges one of the chef's will eliminated from the competition.
Episode 3
The Quickfire Challenge is to create a dish for Mijune's wedding (canape, main, dessert or late night bite), the Elimination Challenge is to create and deliver a dish that reflects the multicultural food scene of the city of Toronto.
Episode 4
The Quickfire Challenge is a dish that is sweet or savoury, breakfast or dessert paired with coffee, the Elimination Challenge is an Hors d'Oeuvre served in a randomly chosen vessel for 150 guests at a gala fundraiser.
Episode 5
The Quickfire Challenge is a dish inspired by love which must incorporate a surprise ingredient from a loved one. The Elimination Challenge is a dish in a progressive tasting menu, featuring at least one farm fresh local ingredient.
Episode 6
The Quickfire Challenge is to create a dish inspired by the chefs Canadian hometown which could become a Tim Hortons menu item, the Elimination Challenge is to create a dish for the future with a randomly selected sustainable ingredient.
Episode 7
The Quickfire Challenge is to create a turkey dish for a special occasion randomly selected by each chef, while the Elimination Challenge is to create a dish inspired by a randomly selected movie genre.
Episode 8
The Quickfire is to create a dish inspired by one of three randomly selected iconic Montreal flavours - after which one chef will be eliminated, while the Final Challenge is a five course tasting menu - after which the winner will be announced.
