However, they might be headed to a win-win situation when Jackie and Sara contemplate on renting the downstairs apartment from their dad.

It Didn't Happen One Night

Sara wants to go on a trip to Lake Tahoe with friends and asks Henry for his permission. When he said he would think about it, it is good enough for Sara to believe she is good to go. Sara goes on the trip and when Henry later visits her apartment to tell her she could go, Jackie informs him that she has already left. Before Henry leaves, he notices Sara's bank book left unattended on a table and takes it in her room. To his bewilderment, he finds birth control pills in Sara's desk.

Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolfe?

Sara is a new hire at Jackie's bank. While showing her the ropes, Jackie warns Sara that their boss, Barry Wolfe, is a womanizer. Jackie is upset when Sara accepted an invitation to dinner with Wolfe, but Sara assures her that the dinner date is only business-related. Wolfe promotes Sara to a manager level position and Jackie is suspicious because Sara has only been at the job for one week. As a result, Jackie gives Sara the silent treatment and their co-workers at the bank start gossiping.

When Wainwright visits Henry to discuss his future, Henry tells him why he should be kept on the job. Meanwhile, Sara's purse got stolen, with tickets to a theater production inside. Therefore, Wainwright, an aspiring detective, believes the perpetrator would use the tickets to see the production, and goes to the theater with Henry to investigate.

Sara rents her apartment to a film crew for a movie, which involves live animals. Meanwhile, Henry and Muriel invites Mr. Wainwright over for dinner so he could discuss a possible job position for Muriel. Back at the girls' apartment, during filming, one of the animals, a male lion, escapes. The creature sneaks into Henry and Muriel's apartment, right in the middle of their dinner engagement with Mr. Wainwright!

Episode 13

Deadline for Henry

Arthur Wainwright gives Henry an assignment that requires him to work overnight, but with a bonus in store for him. Henry is instructed to hand in the project to Wainwright the following day. However, this is a huge burden for Henry as he must appear for jury duty the same morning. Therefore, Muriel, Jackie and Monroe take turns keeping Henry awake at night as he tries to complete his assignment.

Huey

Henry's father, Huey, got kicked out of his retirement home and is put up for a few days at Henry's place. However, the two argues about Huey's future; Henry wants him to stay in a retirement home so that he would be taken care of, but Huey does not believe in "playing it safe." Therefore, he wants to venture out and find a place of his own. Meanwhile, Jackie is contemplating moving to New York for a job opportunity and Huey encourages her to go for it.

His roommate invited his girlfriend to stay over at their place during the break. Since Henry and Muriel will be going on a skiing trip, Sara sees an opportunity to offer her parents' apartment to Monroe to stay for the time being.
