Sudden, rapid aging wreaks havoc in Nene's and Kou's school lives. Hanako identifies the culprit: the three Clock Keepers, rumored to control time. The trio set out to punish the offending apparition, but they'll have to find them first.

One of the Clock Keepers stands revealed - as Nene's classmate Aoi Akane. Hanako proposes they work together to set things right, but past experiences have left Akane with little trust for apparitions.

Nene doesn't have long to live. While Kou struggles with the revelation, Nene goes about her day none the wiser. Only she can't seem to find Hanako.

Nene tries to lift Kou's spirits by inviting him to a summer festival, but Hanako has other ideas.
