Syon House, London

The Time Team travel to Syon House in London to try and locate a huge Monastery that dates back to the time of Henry VI. Today all that can be seen is open lawn. In the past the team has failed many times to locate similar structures in such situations. This time they are sure they will find success.

Whitestaunton, Somerset

Whitestaunton is the site of a 130 year old mystery. The Victorian owners of the site unearthed ruins that suggested an old Roman Villa existed on the site. Recent re-investigation suggests the building is not a Villa, which begs the question, what is it?.

Loch Migdale, Scottish Highlands

In 3 days the team excavate an ancient Briton henge and dive a roughly circular crannog in the loch. In 1900 the Migdale hoard was found in a granite quarry nearby. But where exactly?

South Carlton, Lincolnshire

After the field walkers and metal detectorist have discovered a concentration of finds, the team dig in a field, perhaps an Anglo Saxon burial or Bronze age barrow, next to RAF Scampton where the Red Arrows aerobatic team are practicing.

Syndale, Kent

The team searches for evidence of an early Roman fort and finds Romano-British settlement instead.

Poole Harbour has already shown past evidence of Iron Age activity, with industrial advancement and trading to and from the continental mainland. The island is a Site of Special Scientific Interest; meaning Time Team can only dig by hand.
