Episode 1

Syon House, London

The Time Team travel to Syon House in London to try and locate a huge Monastery that dates back to the time of Henry VI. Today all that can be seen is open lawn. In the past the team has failed many times to locate similar structures in such situations. This time they are sure they will find success.

Episode 2

Whitestaunton, Somerset

Whitestaunton is the site of a 130 year old mystery. The Victorian owners of the site unearthed ruins that suggested an old Roman Villa existed on the site. Recent re-investigation suggests the building is not a Villa, which begs the question, what is it?.

Episode 3

Loch Migdale, Scottish Highlands

In 3 days the team excavate an ancient Briton henge and dive a roughly circular crannog in the loch. In 1900 the Migdale hoard was found in a granite quarry nearby. But where exactly?

Episode 4

South Carlton, Lincolnshire

After the field walkers and metal detectorist have discovered a concentration of finds, the team dig in a field, perhaps an Anglo Saxon burial or Bronze age barrow, next to RAF Scampton where the Red Arrows aerobatic team are practicing.

Episode 5

Syndale, Kent

The team searches for evidence of an early Roman fort and finds Romano-British settlement instead.

Episode 6

Green Island, Dorset

Poole Harbour has already shown past evidence of Iron Age activity, with industrial advancement and trading to and from the continental mainland. The island is a Site of Special Scientific Interest; meaning Time Team can only dig by hand.

Episode 7

Oakamoor, Staffordshire

A team of archaeologists have just three days to excavate the site of an Elizabethan blast furnace after finding clues in a test pit dug as part of Time Team Big Dig. The team also explore medieval furnaces at nearby East Wall and try smelting their own iron.

Goldcliff, Newport

As the beach of the Severn River erodes, it reveals astonishing evidence of some of England's earliest inhabitants. But can that evidence--flints, food remains and fossilized footstep--be recovered before it's destroyed by the fierce tide?

A search for an Iron Age hill fort leads to Bronze Age and Roman sites in the same area.

A Northants homeowner has the team investigate her living room for signs of a Norman building.

Episode 11

Ipswich, Suffolk

Time Team search for a Roman Villa complex on a 1950s housing estate in Ipswich. It should be easy as it was previously dug by an amateur archaeologist before the estate was built but his records and methods may not be all they seem.

Episode 12

Roxburgh, Scottish Borders

Roxburgh was one of Scotland's most prosperous Medieval cities. Then, it simply vanished. Time Team examines the site in an effort to learn of the town and why the city was abandoned.

Cranborne Chase, Dorset

A farmer's pigs unearth Roman mosaic tiles. Time Team excavates a Roman villa and grave sites, as well as evidence of earlier Iron Age and Bronze Age settlements on this hillside.
