When Katherine calls Theodore's whistle cute, an embarrassed Theodore tries to make it sound different.
Episode 2
Theodore thinks he's seen a ghost at Shipwreck Rock making a strange dinging sound while floating in the air.
Episode 3
Theodore finds a whale trapped in some logs. He names the whale Walter and cares for him until George can find the parents.
Episode 4
Theodore and Hank do the night shift because the other tugboats don't want to stay up all night.
Episode 5
Theodore sleeps with the ocean tugs while Emily is away. Hank however is left alone and lonely.
Episode 6
The Dispatcher assigns Emily to lead the other tugboats in the tugboat parade. Hank suggests that she create and recite a Tugboat Pledge.
Episode 7
Foduck teaches the other tugboats about safety flags. George scoffs at this, until he finds a ship whose radio is damaged.
Episode 8
Foduck becomes the Big Harbor's official safety tug. He is disappointed that he will not be able to enter the open ocean.
Episode 9
Theodore becomes the tugboat in charge for the day. When he has an accident with Northumberland, he begins to doubt his abilities.

The Dispatcher cannot hear properly due to a cold. This leads to some confusion and misunderstandings because he mishears what everyone is saying.
Episode 11
George is depressed that he did not win the Tugboat of the Year contest, even though he worked so hard for it.
Episode 12
No one wants to play with or get helped by Hank. He becomes angry and later depressed.
Episode 13
Theodore and Emily see a bright object shooting across the sky one night. The next day, Emily must help the unfriendly ship, Constance the Coast Guard Ship.

Theodore is stuck in the middle of an argument between Emily and George, after George decides to report Emily for being late.
Episode 15
Emily's new friend Carla encourages her to do dangerous stunts. When Emily refuses, Carla calls her boring.
Episode 16
A strange and rude ship named Snorri arrives in the Big Harbor.
Episode 17
Everyone laughs when Theodore accidentally makes a joke about Rebecca. Theodore likes this, so he tries to tell a real joke on purpose, but nobody laughs.

Emily has work to do, but is excited to meet a fishing trawler named Gregor. She attempts to rush all her jobs with disastrous results.

Theodore successfully asks the Dispatcher for a day off, but he soon becomes bored.
