Episode 1

Conor and Jock are school-friends who, having seen off local bully Billy Murphy, narrowly avoid being caught for stealing lead from a roof. Convinced school principal Walsh's daughters Linda and Siobhan can identify they set out to charm them. However Sergeant Healy is suspicious and a fake alibi provided by Conor's mother Mairead does not help. Fortunately they are saved by two mysterious strangers - or are they strangers to Jock?

Episode 2

After escaping from Sergeant Healy on stolen bikes Jock schools Conor in how to get a girlfriend but Principal Walsh is unhappy at seeing the boys with his daughters. His wife Orla is more relaxed and invites the boys to a barbecue but when the principal challenges Conor to a wrestling match things end badly - very badly.

Episode 3

Episode #1.3

The boys persuade the principal's daughters to spend a day out with them - on stolen bicycles. A proposed group swim goes wrong when it attracts unwanted attention and a picnic is an equal failure. The day is saved however by a visit to Jock's mother's grave and the appearance of a school of whales.

Episode 4

Episode #1.4

When their fridge breaks down Mairead and Conor set off for a farm at Skibereen to get a new - second-hand - one, taking Jock, rather against Mairead's wishes. After a bizarre way of changing a tyre and an encounter with an electric fence they reach their destination and obtain the fridge - along with a new passenger. Back home Mairead expresses her dislike of Jock but something happens to change her mind.

Episode 5

Episode #1.5

With Jock living with the McSweeneys more cash is needed so the boys join Mairead working at the fishmongers. The wages are low so they decide to steal and sell on a giant tuna. Not only do they bungle it but Sergeant Healy finds out. Fortunately he is dating Mairead so keeps quiet for her sake and persuades the boys to show how much she means to them.

Episode 6

Episode #1.6

The boys take Linda and the pregnant Siobhan to the cinema by bus but Jock has just stolen from a shop wearing a Billy Murphy mask and a vengeful, knife-wielding Billy hi-jacks the bus with Mairead and Tony Healy in pursuit. Soon the chase is on national news though Siobhan has her own news for Jock whilst Linda and Conor share their first kiss. Ultimately the passengers enjoy their experience so much that when the Garda stops the bus they decide to help Billy.

Episode 7

Christmas Special

The residents of the estate of where Conor, Jock and Mairead live on are campaigning against the council's intentions of eviction, for the estate to be renovated, afraid that they might never get back into their homes if forced out. Meanwhile, Mairead, who has been ill for a number of weeks now, is in hospital. Conor and Jock both show their concern, and ask her if there is anything that they could do to make her better. Having never seen a white Christmas, Conor and Jock set off on an adventure to give Mairead the greatest Christmas she has ever seen.
