Episode 1
Dinaledi Lodge prepares for a banquet to celebrate the concession agreement but everyone's world is thrown into crisis when Tiro threatens to sell the land. Tristan convinces Tiro that illegal hunting is going on and that it is an inside job. Bernie has to leave her comfort zone to save the Morula Berry Cake from being a failure for another year.
Episode 2
Tiro's decision to sell the land comes under pressure from both Itumeleng and his own family, and causes ructions amongst the van Reenen's. Lelo is fully expecting Modise to propose, but at the critical moment, nature gets in the way. Bernie's quest for Morula berries leads her down unexplored avenues.
Episode 3
Bernie ventures into the bush with Karel and makes a meaningful connection. Khumo's dodgy life-style impacts on his family and Diksie takes a stand. Itumeleng makes a deal with Tiro to guarantee that he signs the concession agreement.
Episode 4
The initial spark between Tiro and Lelo grows into an increasing fascination with each other - a fascination which raises eyebrows amongst the guests at the banquet and causes Itumeleng to over-react and get into a fight with Tiro. Bernie's Morula Berry Cake is presented to Kgosi Rratladi.
Episode 5
The pressure is building on Tristan from both Karel and Kate to ease off on his investigation of the illegal hunting. Under interrogation from Zoe, Lelo finally admits she couldn't say "Yes," to Modise's proposal because she thinks she's met someone else. Isaac Tladi reports in at Dinaledi for his first day as a ranger, and promptly puts Jack's nose out of joint.
Episode 6
Tristan plows on with his investigation, and chooses to confront Itumeleng with the evidence of the dead rhino. Lelo attempts to convince herself that Modise is really the man for her. Isaac undergoes a harsh initiation punishment for stepping on Jack's toes and finds no acceptance from his fellow rangers but he's a hit with the ladies. Itumeleng is stunned when his father collapses in his arms.
Episode 7
Tiro arrives at the Chic Young Designer Awards and Zoe has to run interference. When his guests get out of control, Isaac breaks the ranger code but holds onto his personal code. Bernie steps into the danger zone when she finds the rhino horn.
Episode 8
Isaac takes on orientation and impresses everyone except Jack. Lelo decides that she wants to marry Modise, but that changes when she gets an unexpected visitor. Tristan liberates himself from the pressure of having to find who killed the rhino.
Episode 9
A hunting party arrives and Jack is tempted to offer them an illegal kill, Modise wants an answer from Lelo. Tristan increases the pressure on Jack while Amber plans a surprise birthday party for Kate.
Episode 10
Kate is drawn into the hunt by Jack, much to Tristan's annoyance, and Jack shifts his focus, to Kate. Tiro can't get Lelo out of his mind, until Marang drops a bomb in his lap.
Episode 11
Jack begins to fear that Bernie could be in real danger from Itumeleng. Jack begins to insinuate his way between Tristan and Kate, which infuriates Tristan. Tiro takes matters into his own hands. Itumeleng tells Khumo to discipline his wife, Diksie, but things don't go according to plan.
Episode 12
Jack cannot help himself: he offers the hunters an illegal Kudu bull. Bernie finally discovers what Itumeleng wants, and realizes she wants the same thing. Lelo has made up her mind, and tells Modise her decision. After Kate's surprise birthday party, Jack makes his intentions clear, leaving Kate stunned.
Episode 13
Lelo barely has time to catch her breath after getting engaged when Itumeleng sets about planning the wedding. Sarah warns Kate against telling Tristan about Jack's kiss. When Jack tries to get rid of the rhino horn he finds himself looking down the barrel of a gun.
Episode 14
Jack negotiates his way out of a dangerous situation while Kate gets an unexpected offer from Itumeleng. Modise and Lelo stand up for themselves but can't help offending those who want to play a part in their wedding. Isaac realizes that satisfying a guest's needs can get personal.
Episode 15
Tristan reveals to Kate the promise of a new dream that she doesn't completely share. Lelo turns Modise around on their marriage plans. Giovanna's theatricality causes more trouble for Isaac with Jack. Tristan realizes the threat of rhino poaching is a long way from over.
Episode 16
With pressure mounting on the engaged couple, Lelo admits that she hasn't been open with her family about Modise and then lies to herself about Tiro. Tristan invigorates his passion for the white lion project and puts aside his tensions with Karel. Isaac gets pulled into Giovanna's seductive cobweb and finds her impossible to resist.
Episode 17
Diksie, seeing more sparks between Itumeleng and Bernie, believes there's a hot attraction between them. In the midst of Tristan's passion for his white lion project Kate reveals her real fears to Sarah. After being teased and questioned by his siblings, Tiro decides an attack strategy is the best way to move on from Lelo.
Episode 18
The lack of privacy at the lodge corners Itumeleng into telling Bernie they can't be together, but Bernie has other ideas. After taking out his frustration on the camera trap, Jack uses it as a gauntlet to lay down another challenge to Tristan, who is finding Karel a handful as a business partner.
Episode 19
Head ranger Jack stays one step ahead of nemesis Tristan, while Lelo debates whether to attend Tiro's dinner party and the White Lion Project hits a few road bumps because of Karel's cold feet.
Episode 20
Tension mounts for the Lebone family as the night of Tiro's party arrives and Tiro has to deal with seeing Lelo on Modise's arm as his fiancé. Isaac discovers that Jack and Giovanna's encounter was much more innocent than Jack makes out and he finally has Jack on the back foot.
Episode 21
Tristan realizes he has to tell Karel he has to be excluded from the white lion project. After avoiding the issue with Marang, Tiro tries to make contact with Lelo. Marang brings someone new into the Lebone house while Bernie and Itumeleng continue their hot affair in secret.
Episode 22
Tristan tells Karel he has to be excluded from the white lion project, and gets an unexpected response. Tiro makes contact with Lelo and tells her he is not giving up on her. Bernie is furious with Itumeleng for breaking their deal, and Diksie points out a few home truths to Marang.
Episode 23
With an important event being hosted at the lodge - and a difficult critic - people are tense. When Nick leaves the lodge in the lurch, Bernie has an opportunity to step in and shine. She also takes the opportunity to test her boundaries with Itumeleng, but will she push him too far? Meanwhile Kate is encouraged in her quest for independence by Karel.
Episode 24
Marang shares the secret of her divorce with Hope. Kate realizes that balancing her newly revived career with her marriage to Tristan is going to be far from easy, and Bernie fights to claim the top spot in the lodge's kitchen.
Episode 25
Karel and Tristan form an uneasy alliance, but Kate is feeling increasingly offended by Tristan's lack of understanding. Marang is propelled by Hope's predicament and gets a break when Mama Rose suggests a possible course of action. Itumeleng tells Bernie they have to cool their relationship in order to make Bernie's promotion plausible.
Episode 26
Marang gets served divorce papers and shares with Hope why she is the "defendant". Tristan and Kate keep missing each other and their conflict threatens to boil over. Khumo prepares for his interview with Bernie and is pleasantly surprised by what he encounters.
Episode 27
The tension between Tristan and Kate increases, and Amber starts to feel the effects of the worsening domestic situation. Itumeleng overrides Khumo's appointment process and appoints Bernie as Head Chef. Lelo does her best to respect Modise's needs.
Episode 28
Kate is stuck in the middle of nowhere, and her attempts to connect with Tristan fail. Tristan finally learns something has happened, and the race is on to rescue Kate. Itumeleng takes matters into his own hands regarding the troublesome Tomas, but will he go too far in solving the problem?
Episode 29
Tristan and Jack both race to save Kate, but only one will get there on time. Bernie can't contain her jealousy when an old flame of Itumeleng's arrives. Itumeleng confronts Lelo about Tiro.
Episode 30
Lelo is pushed to an extreme decision about her relationship with Modise. Marang makes an astonishing confession to her family. Kate finally tells Tristan the truth about what she is feeling.
Episode 31
Itumeleng forces Modise to make a decision about Lelo, then fights his urge to be a part of whatever Ayanda is putting together. The Lebone's rally around Marang, and she finds the courage to challenge Zweli's demands in the divorce hearing. Lelo regrets tossing the Tladi ring into the dam.
Episode 32
As the staff gossip about the big break up, Modise appears to be falling apart, but his binge causes him to finally stand up to Itumeleng. Tristan warns Kate of Itumeleng and Jack. Zoe cannot comfort Lelo, who is at her lowest. Marang warns Khumo and Diksie to keep Lelo's situation a secret from Tiro.
Episode 33
When Tiro learns of Modise and Lelo's break-up, he acts immediately, despite the problems this causes with his family. Modise, meanwhile, tries to figure out whether Lelo is right for him. Itumeleng undermines Jack and it seems that tension between the two could be dangerous for both.
Episode 34
Tiro encourages his sister to fight for her kids, while he continues to fight for Lelo. Bernie and Itumeleng reach a stalemate in their relationship due to the cunning and enigmatic presence of Ayanda. Modise and Lelo make a very tough decision.
Episode 35
Itumeleng is still resisting Ayanda's attempts to seduce him - both professionally and personally. She turns up the heat by forcing a confrontation Itumeleng is sure to hate. Marang struggles to decide what to do about her children, until she gets advice from an old friend. Modise isn't taking his breakup with Lelo very well and has to lean on Zoe as a friend.
Episode 36
Ayanda oversteps the mark and Itumeleng realizes it is time for her to go. Zoe and Modise try to make sense of their gigantic mistake and Lelo has shocking news for Modise. It seems Kate may have friends from her past descending on her, and she's not sure if she wants that.
Episode 37
Itumeleng and Dinaledi Lodge face a staffing crisis after a bridge is closed. Lelo and Tiro decide to take things to the next level, while Modise comes to terms with the breakup. Kate has a crisis of faith.
Episode 38
The Dinaledi staff are becoming tired and overworked and Khumo's attempts to keep everything running smoothly puts him in conflict with Mama Rose. Kate is still anxious about being with all her old friends and finds it hard to join in the fun, especially when it becomes clear that Jack and Paula are attracted to each other. Itumeleng has to decide how far he'll go to make sure a wealthy and important guest doesn't go to another Lodge.
Episode 39
Tiro's unwavering in his love for Lelo, even against Marang's vehement opposition. Kate butts heads with Tristan when he finds out that she is not proud of her family and who she has become. Itumeleng is frustrated by the fact that the bridge is not repaired yet, and he passes the responsibility of managing the staff to Khumo because he has other fish to fry.
Episode 40
Lelo arrives at the Lebone house to spend the day, but it is quickly apparent that Marang is not happy about it. During an outing with a few of her friends, Kate realizes that Karel understands her situation. But will she make peace with her place? Itumeleng is under huge pressure with the bridge crisis and a client with an impossible demand. How far will he have to go to please him?
Episode 41
Dinaledi lodge is still not running at full tilt, and with a demanding VIP guest on the books Khumo and Itumeleng have their hands full. Marang starts to see the fallout of her pending divorce first hand when her son gets in trouble. Jack tries to keep Itumeleng's illegal hunting venture below the radar.
Episode 42
Jack and Isaac experience the beginnings of an unlikely, but mutual understanding and respect as they prepare for a hunt. Marang makes little progress with her son, and has to entrust him to an unlikely person - Khumo. Itumeleng is far from rid of Ayanda. Her ambition brings her back and she is not letting go.
Episode 43
Jack finally spots leopard tracks, but he has to deal with Isaac's suspicions about the legitimacy of the leopard hunt. Khumo brings in an old acquaintance to entertain DeSantos, and she puts a strain on his marriage. Tuelo starts his work experience at the lodge.
Episode 44
DeSantos gets his prize but Isaac learns that hunting at Dinaledi is far more complicated than it seems. Tuelo finally confronts Marang about her divorce. Diksie seems to take Lindsay and Bernie's advice about how to deal with Khumo, but neither of them expect her to actually remain calm.
Episode 45
Isaac finds himself conflicted by the illegal hunting of a female leopard. Marang gets advice from Itumeleng that helps her restore her relationship with Tuelo. But then he destroys it all again. Khumo and Diksie's marriage hits an even bigger snag.
Episode 46
Isaac sinks deeper and deeper into the lies that bind him, Itumeleng and Jack, and his life is forever changed. No matter how much Itumeleng resists, Ayanda is determined to bring him to his knees. Khumo flounders without Diksie, and she shows no sign of forgiving him.
Episode 47
Kate's friend Nina comes to visit the Van Reenen's and Kate realizes that she's happy with her life. Lelo and Zoe's friendship continues to unravel, due to Zoe's one night stand with Modise. Itumeleng and Ayanda begin their campaign to win the tender for the Kwena bridge, and Ayanda tells Itumeleng to approach his father for community buy-in.
Episode 48
After the failed pitch to Rratladi, Ayanda feels Itumeleng has betrayed her chances of grabbing the tender for the bridge, so she gets revenge via Modise. Kate learns exactly what Nina has planned for her, and she is stunned. Diksie thinks she has finally got through to Khumo when he surprises her with a demand of his own. Tiro invites Lelo to his house for the weekend.
Episode 49
The Tladi Brothers almost go to war over an increasingly manipulative Ayanda. Kate finds it hard to tell her husband that she wants to go, while Tristan finds it even harder to let her go. Marang and Lelo fight for the queen bee position in the Lebone aka Tiro House.
Episode 50
Modise plays along with Ayanda's games to collect info for Itumeleng. Marang makes Lelo's life hell which Tiro counters by offering Marang a job. Tristan's attitude drives Nina away, and Kate decides to follow her. Khumo and Diksie learn about love from an unexpected source.
Episode 51
Humo and Diksie restore the German couple's faith in love and marriage, learning a lesson about their own relationship along the way. Amber tries to fill her mother's shoes and proves to Tristan that they can cope on their own. Modise tells Itumeleng that Tiro is also tendering for the bridge contract, and Itumeleng does not take it well.
Episode 52
Lelo still feels like an outsider in the Lebone family and this isolation is only made worse when Marang's divorce comes through and everyone rallies around her. Now that Modise has revealed to Itumeleng that Ayanda is trying, once again, to manipulate the Tladis, Itumeleng orders Modise to have no further contact with her - but Modise has his own ideas. Kate finally returns to the van Reenen farm, but she's got some startling news.
Episode 53
Kate struggles to reconcile her dreams with the pressure of her big news. Khumo is so wrapped up in lodge business that he cannot see that Diksie has other things on her mind that she needs to discuss with him. Tiro and Lelo are caught up in the intimacies of their relationship.
Episode 54
Kate tries to come to terms with everything, and Tristan tells Blessing his big news. Lelo and Zoe are pitted against one another in a battle for a promotion. Diksie and Khumo must put their marital problems aside in order to identify a respected critic.
Episode 55
A possible promotion at Chic magazine threatens Zoe and Lelo's already fragile relationship. Khumo and the lodge staff continue to hunt for the mysterious and elusive lodge reviewer. And Kate grows more and more ambivalent much to the delight of Jack.
Episode 56
Lelo learns something about herself at work and she and Tiro finally consummate their relationship. Kate's big secret is a secret no more, and she melts with uncertainty during a celebration. After much sleuthing Diksie, believes she knows the reviewer's identity - but the truth is not what she expected at all.
Episode 57
Tiro persuades Lelo to forgive Zoe and not take the job, however she just can't seem to back down. Tristan tries to get the truth out of Kate about how she really feels, however when she finally tells him, it's not what he wants to hear. Khumo, Diksie, Lindsay and Bernie are so sure about who the five star reviewer is, they overlook any other possibilities.
Episode 58
A visit from Kate's friend Nina serves to highlight Kate's mixed feelings about her pregnancy, causing a wide rift between Kate and Tristan. Diksie feels Khumo is too insensitive to her needs, and it appears that the staff have ruined their chances of getting a five-star review.
Episode 59
Kate won't let go of her dream to go to the design course, thus deepening tensions with Tristan. In 'winning' the promotion at Chic, Lelo considers quitting and is seduced by Tiro's offer to buy her her own magazine. Itumeleng orders Jack to make Isaac part of the hunting detail. Isaac suspects Itumeleng is grooming him to replace Jack.
Episode 60
Lelo's new promotion doesn't go as well as she thought. Unable to resolve his conflict with Isaac, Jack takes him out in the bush for a little unofficial discipline. Amber begins 'acting out' and things finally come to a head when Kate makes her decision.
Episode 61
Itumeleng comes clean to his father, and RraTladi takes away the one thing that matters most to Itumeleng. Tiro, who is a bit at sea after his fight with Lelo, finds himself accepting an unusual challenge from Tristan. Lelo is forced to play her hand by a defiant Zoe, and finds herself in a difficult situation with Rosie, who no longer trusts her.
Episode 62
Tiro heads into the bush with Blessing and Tristan, in an attempt to win a bet. Karel voices his concerns about his family to Marang, during a visit to the Kwena bridge. Lelo's new job increases the tension between her and Zoe, until Zoe makes a rash decision.
Episode 63
Marang, Blessing, and Tristan push a determined Tiro to the limits in the bush. A conflicted Itumeleng has to do a balancing act between the lucrative bridge tender and appeasing his father. Meanwhile Lelo realizes that business and friendship don't mix. Kate gets unexpected support from her family in pursuit of her dream job while Mama Rose seeks Itumeleng's council regarding Isaac's foul mood.
Episode 64
Tristan takes a big step forward with his white lion project, just as he and Kate get bad news, news which leaves Kate with an enormous choice. Tiro believes he has uncovered his new passion, and makes it clear Lelo is part of that dream. Isaac takes on his mother about more than her current meddling.
Episode 65
RraTladi has a dream that foreshadows the fall of the Tladi family. Kate falls into a deep depression. Lelo has Chic and Rosie under control until Zoe returns. Tiro undermines Marang when he gives the bridge tender his full commitment. Tristan gets a mysterious envelope, the contents of which could bring Itumeleng and the Lodge down once and for all.
Episode 66
Tiro and Tristan try to work out why they've been sent a picture of Itumeleng on a leopard hunt and what it might mean for their poaching investigation. Itumeleng hears that Tiro is now personally taking over the Lebone bid for the Kwena bridge tender and decides to do his own bid over again, cutting profit even more. Kate and Tristan seem to have adjusted to their new circumstances, much to Jack's chagrin.
Episode 67
Itumeleng manipulates Marang into betraying Tiro. Tiro reveals his plan to flush Itumeleng out of his hole and expose the illegal hunting. Kate finds herself frustrated by Tristan's lack of commitment once more, and she treats herself to some fun of her own. Zoe can't help herself, and proves she still has it when she pulls off an office coup.
Episode 68
RraTladi's dreams are confirmed: the Tladi family is in danger. Itumeleng is exposed and his world begins to fall apart. All Kate's careful plans to get her relationship back on track are dealt another severe blow. Lelo and Zoe are stunned by Rosie's ability to do the unexpected.
Episode 69
Tristan rocks the family boat again by disappointing Kate and Amber, ultimately bringing them closer to Jack. Lelo and Zoe are committed to bringing down their common foe, Rosie. And problems begin to mount for Itumeleng as he faces formidable and unexpected challenges from Tiro, and RraTladi.
Episode 70
When Modise is sent to the lodge to do damage control, Mama Rose fully understands the implications of RraTladi's dream of the "Danger from Within". Kate is in denial about her feelings for Jack but when Poppy propositions him, she realizes the true extent of her jealousy. Rosie draws Lelo deeper into her web and suggests that there is something big on Lelo's horizon.
Episode 71
Modise realizes he has been brought here to keep an eye on Itumeleng. RraTladi lets Mama Rose in on his thoughts about the future of the chieftancy, and they are dark. Rosie makes a surprise visit and stuns Lelo and Tiro with two separate offers. Lelo also stands up to Marang. Kate begs Tristan to come home but he has his own bad news to deal with. Meanwhile Jack continues to circle.
Episode 72
Kate and Tristan drift farther apart leading her to do the unthinkable with Jack. Marang confesses her betrayal to Tiro. Lelo confronts Rosie about her attempts to seduce Tiro, and a slighted Itumeleng lashes out at RraTladi, causing his father to suffer greatly.
Episode 73
Itumeleng refuses to right his wrongs and go to his ailing father's bedside. Kate and Jack fall for each other even further, while Tristan begins to suspect something is up. Lelo swallows her pride and returns to work.
Episode 74
Kate tries to deal with her guilty conscience. Her guilt impacts on her relationship with Tristan, and she breaks it off with Jack. Tiro calls off his campaign against Itumeleng, at the request of Marang. Itumeleng, overcome with guilt at his role in his father's illness, keeps his distance from his family causing the community to question his love for his father.
Episode 75
Itumeleng receives exactly what he wanted, at precisely the wrong time. Kate and Jack reinstate their affair on the day that Tristan's dream comes to fruition. Tiro tries to make Lelo understand why he is so connected to this land, and why he wants to change and make his life out here, but the pull of the city gets in the way.
Episode 76
Modise agrees to help Itumeleng but lays down some ground rules that shift the balance of power in their relationship. Kate encourages Tristan to spend time with Eva, his new lioness, to make her feel less guilty about her affair with Jack. Meanwhile Karel senses that something is up with Kate and confronts Tristan about it. Lelo knows that she can't have both, and may have to choose between Tiro and the magazine.
Episode 77
Modise starts to show more and more leadership qualities. Karel reveals his suspicions of her affair to Kate. Rratladi ponders his own mortality and the future of his family and community. And Lelo and Tiro put their relationship on hold.
Episode 78
RraTladi continues to recover, but confides that the future of the community is still uncertain. Although experiencing private doubts about his successor, he firmly endorses Itumeleng as future chief. Tiro embarks on a campaign to undermine Itumeleng's succession. Lelo is torn between her career and Tiro. Kate manages to convince Karel that his fears about her infidelities are unfounded, while continuing her affair with Jack. Then Lindsay discovers the affair.
Episode 79
Tiro gives Lelo the space she needs to make a crucial career decision. He refuses to get involved in the decision and they agree she has to make it on her own. But help arrives from an unexpected source. Modise proposes a new venture that he hopes will unite all three families, but Tristan has other ideas. Bernie and Lindsay confront Jack and try and force him to end the affair with Kate.
Episode 80
Lelo resigns from Chic. Bernie and Lindsay threaten to expose Jack and Kate. After hitting brick walls with Jack and Isaac, Modise presents Itumeleng with evidence of illegal hunting at Dinaledi.
Episode 81
Modise reveals that he is a better man than Itumeleng when he organizes a clan feast in honor of RraTladi. Marang's antagonism grows when Tiro refuses to attend RraTladi's feast. When Lindsay discovers that Kate has ignored her ultimatum she confronts her. Kate stands strong and accuses Lindsay of wanting to destroy her marriage because she has the hots for her husband.
Episode 82
Itumeleng continues to distance himself from his father, while Modise becomes closer to the old man. Lindsay tells Karel shocking news about Kate and Jack.
Episode 83
Khumo decides it's high time he was promoted to General Manager of the lodge. Karel talks Kate out of coming clean to Tristan, and instead she blurts out that she's going to have a boy. Marang looks to Itumeleng for help about the Lelo problem. While Isaac and Modise strengthen their positions in the Tladi family, Itumeleng becomes more of an outsider.
Episode 84
Itumeleng is distracted from the party preparations by Khumo's bid for promotion, and Jack's threats to expose him. Under pressure, Jack still plans to flee Dinaledi, and pushes Kate to join him. RraTladi finally confides to Mama Rose that he doesn't want Itumeleng to be chief. The chief and Itumeleng have an explosive confrontation at the party.
Episode 85
Having watched while his father died, Itumeleng tries to assert his control over the community, then Modise starts asking questions about what really happened in the moments before his father's death. Jack survives the shooting and manages to get help on Kate's doorstep. Mama Rose doesn't know how she'll survive without the man she loved. The Lebone's fear the LeboneTladi feud will flare up again.
Episode 86
Modise can't shake the feeling that his father's death was far from natural. Khumo and Diksie find it hard to conceal their possible pregnancy. Jack's presence in the Van Reenen home unsettles both Karel and Tristan, while he tries to figure out who shot him. Mama Rose confides in her son about the Tladi's true heir apparent.
Episode 87
Diksie comes to terms with how much she wants a baby. RraTladi's body is returned home and Bernie turns Itumeleng down when he tries to seduce her. Jack is resolved to confront the man who shot him but has he identified the correct suspect?
Episode 88
RraTladi is buried. A grief stricken Mama Rose shares a personal secret to Modise and after hearing some disturbing news, Modise, now beliefs that his father's death wasn't an accident. Tiro tells Lelo they will have to live apart until he has found another elder to negotiate for her on his behalf. Kate escapes Jack by going away with Tristan. Diksie gets her results about her pregnancy.

Itumeleng evicts Modise from the lodge and in so doing declares war, but Modise will not take his lightly. Karel saves Jack's life and they have to work together to get rid of the evidence. Diksie tames "the princess" but her success is short lived.

Itumeleng lures Modise into the bush for a showdown, but only one of them has a gun. The party lifestyle catches up with Modise and he signs an important document. Sarah and Tristan can't locate their dad and Sarah goes to look for him. Jack tries to get into Lelo's good books - this infuriates Tristan, who doesn't believe Lelo can run the reserve. Itumeleng and Modise rush to the hospital after an accident.

Itumeleng confronts Lebata about being responsible for the accident. His anger gets the better of him and he humiliates himself in front of Marang. Karel has someone's life in his hands. Angie's confidence is short-lived and she lashes out at Jack.

Rossouw hounds Karel for the truth. Jack pursues Angie like a smitten puppy dog. After being upstaged by local politician Lebata, Itumeleng and Modise take on the royal council with full force. Sarah tries to come to terms with her father's ordeal.

Itumeleng reveals his vision for the future. Lelo wants to play a more active role in the running of the reserve and Marang discovers that an unlikely candidate would make the perfect PA. Angie and Jack negotiate the "terms and conditions" of their situation.

Jack's left in an awkward place with Angie when he spends the day with Lelo on the reserve - and this also irritates Tristan. After a disastrous driving lesson, March 2012 Ang gets Blessing to teach Zintle to drive. Will he succeed? Itumeleng and Modise formulate a plan against Lebata, thanks to Marang.

Itumeleng needs a date for the auction and Marang hopes that she'll be it. Tristan fumes when Lelo demands answers about the running of the reserve - to make matters worse, Karel and Sarah stand up for her. Angie makes her intentions clear regarding Jack.

The Parlotones performs at the Jacaranda Anti-Poaching Auction and Itumeleng goes up against Lebata as they bid on a painting. Marang discovers where she stands with Itumeleng. Angie is introduced to the Van Reenens and Tristan wants Lelo to prove that she is serious about becoming more involved in the Lebone Reserve.

Rossouw receives an unwelcome visitor. Angie and Jack are reminded how dangerous it is being a ranger. Marang learns she has become rusty at reading a man's signals, and wishes she had not allowed herself to hope. Tristan and Lelo find some common ground - but then he delivers bad news.

A dark threat shows up on Inspector Rossouw's doorstep making huge demands. Lelo is determined to see her husband's murderer caught. After a dangerous encounter, Angie and Jack's relationship grows. Zintle surprises Blessing while Marang struggles with her feelings for Itumeleng.

While Angie receives a welcomed visit from the Van Reenens, she is also surprised by an unwanted one from the past. Marang is jealous of Itumeleng's love life. Mama Rose and Mogorosi hijack Itumeleng's inauguration plans while Captain Rossouw struggles to conceal and get rid of a looming threat.
