Jason Harris claims he can prove that Stefan Salvatore killed his sister Joanne. He has followed him from Manhattan to Mystic Falls. His first stop is the Mystic Grill where he talks to the hostess there about the Salvatore Boarding House. Jason tells the camera that he knows Stefan is a vampire. To be continued...

Jason Harris enters Stefan Salvatore's bedroom in the Salvatore boarding house. He holds a video camera as he talks about being "in a vampire's bedroom." With seemingly nobody home, Jason assumes that Stefan is in the basement in a coffin (because it is light out) and sets up "surprises" for him. He sets up a crucifix across from the door, some garlic in a drawer among his clothes, and splashes holy water on his bed. He discovers a bookshelf of Stefan's many journals. He reads a current one where Stefan has written about seeing Elena Gilbert at a few different places. Jason assumes that Stefan is stalking her as his prey. He grabs a stake from his bag and tells the camera that he's "not letting him kill anyone else" and that he'll be "ready and waiting." To be continued...

Jason Harris films Stefan Salvatore as he jumps off the roof of the Salvatore Boarding House and lands without injury. He continues to film as he follows Stefan into the woods. He ponders why none of his traps had any affect on Stefan or how he is even out in the sun without bursting into flames. As he contemplates the effectiveness of the stake he is carrying, he discovers a freshly killed rabbit. As he runs along, he finds another and then two dead hikers. With fog growing around him, he says they are exactly the same way they found his sister. Someone is watching him from behind a tree.
Episode 4

Jason Harris arrives back in Stefan Salvatore's bedroom and notes that he "must still be out hunting." He hears a noise but discovers nothing as he concludes that Stefan is more powerful than he thought and he will probably not be able to get close enough to stake him. He decides to "destroy his nest" instead and reveals a large canister of gas. He hears another noise and says it was "just a bird" before making another discovery, a news clipping of an article about the murder of his sister Joanne. Jason realizes that a window is suddenly open behind him as another bird is heard cawing. He sees a man standing in the shadows who is not Stefan. Jason deduces that this is the man who killed his sister and holds up the stake. Damon Salvatore comes out and attacks him, picking up his camera and telling him to " say hi to the nice people of Mystic Falls." Also, to "say goodbye" just before the screen goes black and it is assumed that Damon kills him.
