The Tomorrow People all have visions of an Egyptian boy at the same time as a robbery is committed at the British Museum. Investigating a lead at Cleopatra's Needle, they meet the mysterious Milicent Rutherford who warns them of coming danger.

Handwriting appears, leading Adam and Megabyte to Millicent's eccentric associates. Ami fall pray to a pendent that puts her mind in possession of Sam Rees. As the boys teleport to Cairo to seek the Rameses cartouche, Ami receives orders to prevent the boys from learning anything further.

Rescuing the Rameses cartouche from Tate and Scully, Adam and Megabyte work out where to find an undiscovered tomb. Inside, a sarcophagus lies empty while a wall drawing displays a celestial event. Ami, possessed by Sam Rees, causes their unseen foe to try burying them alive. For failing Sam Rees twice, Hubert Tate's life may be forfeit.

With guidance from Millicent's associates, Adam ably recreates the drawings from the undiscovered tomb of Rameses, which Amanda James brings some understanding to. The gang meets with scientist Felix Fry, who has instruction to send them to the mysterious Sam Rees. While Adam visits Sam Rees alone, Ami and Megabyte discover something very odd and troubling about their cloistered foe.

Ami and Megabyte retrieve Adam and Millicent from Rameses' limbo, but the night is at hand for him to recharge and become all powerful. The Tomorrow People join Millicent and her associates to thwart evil. It's a serious threat that can be embattled, in large part, by... silliness.

The first of many meteorites crashes near an English suburb and begins taking alien possession of people. Jade reunites with Adam and Megabyte when her curiosity gets her arrested for questioning by General Damon as he tries to snag one of these meteorites for study. Little does Jade know that her mother has fallen victim to one of the meteorites.

Jade believes her possessed mom to be suffering from a migraine, but her dog knows better. Afterward, Adam and Megabyte take Jade to the Kew Gardens to see about identifying the meteoric pod. No luck. As Jade returns home and finds a cave filled with possessed people, Dr. Bradley comes under alien attack in the lab, and Prof. Beth Halliday gets abducted in mid-lecture on how to stimulate plant growth ultrasonically. Worried about Jade and searching for her in her strangely deserted neighborhood, Adam and Megabyte get nabbed.
Episode 8

Jade leads Adam and Megabyte to the cave, which all the possessed villagers have deserted. At the military base, generals Damon and Beaumont-Savage butt heads over who has superiority over the other. As Adam figures out why Prof. Halliday was taken, General Damon rescues her from the clutches of the alien-possessed horde, but there's a problem.

A fight with Megabyte frees General Damon of alien control but leaves him hospitalized. General Beaumont-Savage uses the situation to take command and make a name for himself. As Jade and Beth attempt escape, Adam and Megabyte link with the mother ship to find out who's been reaching them telepathically. The possessed villagers, securing the disc, use Beth's machine to breed the alien pods for release at Byron Lucifer's upcoming concert.

After Beth and Jade's rescue (where Jade emerges as a Tomorrow Person), the group brainstorms with General Beaumont-Savage (hellbent for battle) to deduce that the aliens intend to possess rock fans at Byron Lucifer's come back rock concert. The Tomorrow People (and General Damon) aim to stop both the aliens' widespread possession of the public and General Beaumont-Savage's intent to lead a military incursion.
