After spending a year searching in vain for the quantum nexus, the Sparticles tribe are falling apart and Holly decides to put an end to the quest by selling the key to Fizzy. Sadiq realizes that the key fits perfectly into the crown of a stone head among the artifacts that Fizzy has collected and reunites the Sparticles to challenge Fizzy for the chance to win back the key, the stone head, and Reese's freedom.

The Sparticles need to find a way to translate the message on the stone head, but the museum has been locked down by the History Tribe. Rocky, leader of the Featherheads, offers to help, as he wants to steal gold from the museum to pay for fuel for his generator. Jeffrey objects to melting down the treasure and looks for an alternative, renewable fuel source. Meanwhile, Holly and Serena offer the History Tribe Fizzy's protection in return for the decoder.

Following the clue to the 'leaping white horse', the Sparticles find themselves in a circus and pose as clowns to avoid trouble. Reese takes an interest in the circus' fortune teller, but is disappointed to discover that she's not genuine. Meanwhile, Serena is reunited with her sister, who points her to a chalk horse on a hillside where they find the next clue - an old sword. But Holly gets trapped underground and needs Sadiq's help to get out.

Rocky poses as a weapons inspector and tries to confiscate the sword from Serena and Holly as they enter Peace City. Sadiq is mistaken for a dance star and finds himself performing on stage. Following the mystical pull that she thinks will lead her to the Quantum Nexus, Reese meets Huen - a young boy with similar powers to her own. Meanwhile, Fizzy offers a massive reward for the capture of the Sparticles, but when that doesn't produce results he decides to take over the city.

The quest for the Quantum Nexus leads to Watermint Mill which, according to rumors, is home to a child-eating creature. Liam and Frankie impersonate the creature to scare Serena and Holly as they discover that the stone head also has a body and get the address for the next clue. Reese and Huen are drawn to the creature, sensing that it has powers like theirs. Meanwhile, the rivalry between Jeffrey and Rocky comes to a head.

Jeffrey is stung by a poisonous plant and needs an antidote that is held in a castle guarded by a tribe of knights. Serena offers the sword to get into the castle, and the Sparticles must compete in a tournament to win it back. Meanwhile, Reese is having difficulty decoding the writing on the Artos Stone and discovers that someone is blocking her powers.
Episode 7

A tribe of traders imprison the Sparticles, accusing them of stealing a shipment of chocolate intended for Fizzy. Reese's powers are increasing, but the rest of the tribe aren't happy to discover that she can control them. Rocky is forced to confess that he took Tia's necklace and Sadiq tries to work out whose side Serena is really on. Meanwhile, Fizzy heads for the warehouse, determined to get the chocolate he needs to control the Dims.

Jeffrey and Callum meet a young druid who is preparing for the annual ritual of Artos and the race is on to assemble the statue before the solstice. But Ernesto has decided that his revolution will be easier without the adults, and tries to stop the Sparticles. Reese has an out-of-body experience and is reunited with Muna who explains that there are more than two dimensions and realigning the world with the wrong one could be disastrous. Serena's secret is out when Fizzy discovers that she's a double agent.

Tensions are rising as the race to the Quantum Nexus nears its end. Holly discovers that the sword leads the way and Serena leaves a trail for the Sparticles to follow. Reese is more convinced than ever that realigning the worlds would be dangerous, but no-one will listen to her so she teams up with Ernesto to stop the Sparticles.
Episode 10

Finally arriving at the Quantum Nexus, the Sparticles are greeted by a holographic version of Doomsday Dora who acts as tour guide to the mining operations. Recognising the children, Holo-Dora explains that the Quantum Nexus can identify the right dimension to bring their parents back. Unaware of this, Reese sets about sabotaging the system, causing a malfunction that could end in disaster.
