In the Bahamas, Joan Wingate tells her friend, Simon Templar she's concerned her sister, Lida's in trouble. They go to meet her at a club, but she's shot. The Saint disagrees with the official version, of suicide, and resolves to find her killer.

In Paris, Templar attends a reception for an the notorious Madame Chen, who owns a priceless pearl necklace.He recognises her personal secretary as someone who was previously, a thief, although she tells Simon she's reformed. An attempt's made to steal the pearls. Now the Saint has to thwart Jeannine, who he's sure, ISN'T a reformed character.

A pretty thief's murdered after telling the Saint he's been paid to steal documents for blackmail purposes, by a villain known as the Scorpion. Templar follows the blackmail victim to a club, where he makes his payment, but the girl who accepts the money - is herself, later attacked. Soon, Templar receives a message from the Scorpion; a package containing a large scorpion. Patsy sends Simon a message; a telephone number which'll hopefully lead to the exposure of the Scorpion.

In a South American republic, the Saint meets American siblings who are gun runners, hoping to swindle a pair of brothers; vicious would-be revolutionaries, Simon agrees to help pull off their deception in return for a share of the profits.

The Saint's approached by a young woman who says her father's invention will revolutionise the clothing industry, and her father's already been offered $1million by an American, but every attempt at trying to contact a British clothing tycoon's been rebuffed. Simon offers to help, but when he does, he tells a different story. Templar must find out what's really the truth.

In the Australian outback, the Saint meets a prospector, who's 2 self-absorbed sons, have no love for each other, and have consistently leeched off their father, making him ill. Simon resolves to teach the greedy pair a lesson with a plan involving a silver mine, which may or may not exist.

The Saint helps Chief Inspector Teal find out why businessman Lewis Enstone willingly put a gun to his head and shot himself, given that, despite several complications in his life, he had no cause to feel suicidal. The one clue; his love of novelty toys.

Whilst in the South of France, the Saint meets Laura Stride and her apparently respectable father, as well as crossing swords with Abdul Osman - a member of the local crime syndicate; the Latini. Unbeknown to his daughter, Stride himself. Is the boss. A power struggle ensues between the 2 men to head the Latini, in which Osman flirts with Laura, using her as an unwitting pawn. Simon must rescue Laura and ensure that the villains pay the price.

A married politician's being blackmailed over an extramarital affair, but his blackmailers don't seek money; they want access to an important speech which he's' to deliver to the prime minister. The Saint sets a trap to flush out the' blackmailer.

In Munich for Oktoberfest, the Saint's friend, a US army sergeant 's killed whilst trying to stop an armed robbery at his base. Unbeknown to him, his girlfriend was actually part of the gang, and she's getting cosy with another American soldier.

In Puerto Rico, the Saint meets a young woman who's a representative of a charity, which bestows funds to organisations which help the needy. She's trying to find someone help her distribute the money and picks a well-known local philanthropist, but, Simon finds out he's a fraud.

The Saint is approached by Italian restaurateur Domenick Naccaro and his family. Domenick's daughter Maria has had a baby by a fraudster called Rolfieri, who promised to marry her but fled the country back to Italy having embezzled vast sums of money. The Saint follows him to Florence along with Maria's brother Allessandro, and, under an alias, takes a job with him. Before long, however, the Saint's cover is blown and he finds himself - not for the first time - in a very perilous position, in a car with cut brakes hurtling down a hillside. He must escape if he is to help the damsel in distress.

Episode 14

The Saint's he victim of an attempted hit-and-run, the driver being a man who served in the US military a few years earlier, and was involved in a robbery. He was sent to prison but the spoils of the robbery were never found. Now he's out and looking for the money.

The Saint interrupts an armed robbery and is told by Chief Inspector Teal that the gang in question are responsible for similar crimes and are building up to a last big job. A hit is put out on the Saint to prevent any further attempts on his part to foil the gang, and, as he entertains a young lady in his apartment, a man with a telescopic rifle takes aim at him from a house opposite. Surely the Saint will survive, to expose the set-up.

In Germany the Saint saves a young girl, Julia, from what appears to be an accident but is an attempt on her life by Charles Voyson, a man who swindled her father out of £250,000 and is planning to change his identity. Voyson feigns illness and is taken to a clinic run by an accomplice, Dr. Schreiber, who informs Julia and the Saint that Voyson has just died. In fact he is very much alive and about to jump onto a train. The Saint and Julia follow him but she is captured by Voyson and held hostage in his compartment. The Saint climbs along the carriages to save her.

Episode 17

On holiday in Scotland, Simon's staying near a secret scientific base, where several of he staff's been killed. Soon after, a professor of the base is murdered, having scrawled the letters 'COP' before dying. His colleagues claim ignorance, but Templar believes one of them's the killer and enlists the help of the hotelier's daughter in solving the case.

In Malaya, Templar's working for the British government.to find an international terrorist who killed a friend. He stays at a farm owned by Don Morland and his daughter, and finds they're being threatened to leave. When the Morlands refuse, the farm's attacked, The Saint helps them fought the terrorists who's leader goes by the name; the claw.

In South America, the Saint meets a pair of con artists, who show him a gold statue, claiming it's one of many. They offer Simon a share of the treasure of he finance the expedition, but Templar plans to turn the tables, especially after he discovers their are gunrunners for local revolutionaries mistakenly following him.

The Saint's summoned by the daughter of an inn located in a remote part of Cornwall. When he arrives, it's clear their's something odd going on, despite protests from her father who's very scared. She tells Simon she hears strange noises at night, and has overheard the 3 guests boast about coming into money very soon. Simon decides to investigate.

In Haiti, noted for Voodoo, the Saint meets the beautiful Sibao, a mystical young woman, and a man named Netlord, a mysterious man who has a hold on her and her father. After an acquaintance of Templar's killed in a bizarre fashion, he's invited to dine with Netlord, and finds himself in danger.

A chemist who works at a research lab is abducted and forced to go with them. A few hours earlier, CI Teal intercepts one of the group and asks Simon, if he'd be willing to work undercover finding out what the men are up to. He suspects they're planning the 'crime of the century'.

A TV host, whose jovial image belies his unpleasantness, owes his success to the writing skills of his brother, Paul. A man comes to tell Paul that his brother was the one responsible for their sister's death. The next day, Paul's found dead. The assumption's suicide, but Simon's unconvinced.
