Moving On: Part 1

Fresh from a riding lesson with Miss Amelia, Carole is devastated to learn her father Colonel Hanson is being deployed overseas. The situation only gets worse, when Carole finds out she must now live with her Aunt Penny in the city, leaving the Saddle Club and Starlight behind. Distraught at having to leave her friends, Carole gallops out of a riding lesson and relays the terrible news to her best friends. The Saddle Club vow to never split up and both Lisa and Stevie are quick to offer Carole a place to stay. With the help of miscommunication and Veronica's meddling, the girls end up bickering during a gig at JB's, leaves Carole in tears. Thinking it would be better for everyone if she left Willow Creek, Carole agrees with her father to stay with her aunt in the city and says a heartfelt goodbye to Starlight. Meanwhile Melanie and Jess do everything in their power to hide the miniature donkey Trouble, first at Pine Hollow and then at home. And Simon, a new computer savvy student arrives at Pine Hollow, but his fear of horses keeps him from actually getting on a horse and he spends most of his time avoiding his stern riding instructor, Miss Amelia.

Moving On: Part 2

Intent on keeping Carole from moving to the city, Stevie and Lisa try to un-arrange Carole's accommodation with her Aunt Penny only to be found out by Colonel Hanson. Unable to leave Starlight behind, Carole resolves to runaway with her horse. When Lisa and Stevie eventually find her, Carole urges them to camp out so her father and Mrs. Reg can't find them. Lisa and Stevie agree and begin to help Carole build a corral for their horses. When Mrs. Reg and Colonel Hanson finally track down the Saddle Club, what the Colonel sees makes him realize he can't tear his daughter from her friends or her horse. A goodbye party at JB's quickly turns into a celebration, when Carole announces she will be staying as Pine Hollow's first live-in border. The Saddle Club and other Pine Hollow students are ecstatic, but Veronica is less than impressed. Meanwhile Simon fakes an injury to get out of riding a horse but Miss Amelia sees through his scheme. And Miss Amelia resigns much to the relief of Max who now doesn't have to fire her.

Lisa's Choice: Part 1

Diablo appears when Lisa is out on a ride with Prancer, and she quickly gallops after him. Lisa returns to Pine Hollow excited about Diablo's return, but Stevie and Carole are skeptical and try to resume their study session for exams just days away. Unfortunately Lisa is more distracted than ever and she promises to study only after they find him. Lisa leads Stevie and Carole to the forest trail, but their search turns up nothing. Lisa tells Stevie and Carole that she'll continue looking for him alone. Diablo finally returns to Lisa and she brings him back to Pine Hollow. Later that day, Stevie is concerned when Belle falls ill and the vet suspects a virus. When the vet asks if Belle has been exposed to any wild animals, it finally dawns on Stevie - Belle was in contact with Diablo. Lisa leads Mrs. Reg, the vet, Carole and Stevie down to Diablo only to find the paddock empty. As Belle's condition worsens, Stevie blames Lisa for bringing a diseased animal to Pine Hollow and Lisa realizes if Belle is sick then Diablo might be too. Carole manages to convince Lisa to take her exam before she goes to find Diablo, but Lisa can't concentrate during the test and runs out upset, determined to find him. Lisa returns after searching for Diablo to find Stevie watching over Belle, her condition hasn't improved. Meanwhile Mrs. Reg insists that Veronica help a very shy girl, Lilly, prepare for her practical exam. Veronica takes over coaching from Simon and Desi, and surprisingly her loud and abrasive methods have unexpected results. And Trouble thinks that Melanie and Jess are too focused on their study to pay him attention, so he forces them to notice.

Lisa's Choice: Part 2
