Clark gets a call from detective Lopez telling her that a guy they arrested might know one of the suspects Garza is looking for. Clark uses the info to persuade Garza to put her on the team but some of the team members are not keen on her due to her disregard for procedure.

Simone tries to get close to her, and Carter runs into a woman whom he arrested who threatens the op. Brendon's father is arrested and claims to be ill, but Brandon doesn't believe him because his father has always been duplicitous.

They find a cache of nuclear material and equipment to make dirty bombs. They discover they are looking for an environmental terrorist. They Find him but they discover he could have planted a bomb. So they need to find it. Brendon gives Laura a birthday gift and When she deduces what it is he tries to think of a better one. Simone learns a guy she knows is her fathers accountant and when he discovers an anomaly. She doesn't react to well to it and it causes friction between her and her father.

Its thanksgiving and the team gets a report of a man and his daughter being abducted. They check it out and discover the vehicles they took them away in, they find it at the courthouse. They Find the man in it, he tells them he works at the courthouse and they wanted to know how to access it. They learn a criminal who is in custody is meeting with the D.A.to work out a deal but the men burst in and release the criminal. The team arrives and the criminal demands to be released or he kills the hostages among whom is Wesley. When they learn the mans daughter was taken elsewhere, Garza sends Laura and Brandon to Find her. When one of the hostages is shot Garza asks That paramedics be allowed inside. He sends Simone posting as one.

It is a struggle because the head their FBI office, Tracy, is trying to hold everyone in the office. Through bending of some rules they are successful. They discovered Rice, the guy Garza was protecting in Panama, was the issue. He had worked with Allen Brady. They arrested him.
