A power-cut crippling Chastain during a storm seems its result, but the IT specialist soon finds it's the result of Bell's refusal to invest time and money in an overdue system upgrade, as the hospital was hacked, not for ransom as he initially assumes, but from inside. Meanwhile Conrad, Devon and colleagues work wonders to prevent medical disasters, such as improving an OR Afghan front style. It turns out the saboteur is a frustrated patient whose family is ruined by hospital bills, which Bell's board eagerly compliments with airway robbery tariff helicopter flights.
