The Reckoning
A TV mini-series drama about the disgraced late TV personality Jimmy Savile. BBC One will tell the story of Savile's rise to fame, and the sexual abuse scandal that emerged after his death. This mini-series aims to respectfully give a voice to Savile's 500+ sexual abuse victims, while also helping us understand why a man like Jimmy Savile seemed to remain immune for so long to proper scrutiny and criminal investigation.

This success leads to him being offered the role as presenter of the BBC's new flagship music TV show, Top of the Pops. But behind the catchphrases and smiles lurks a sinister and dark character who secretly preys upon the young and vulnerable.
