The Real Deal is an absurd romp through Chicago following the lives of best friends Molly and Libby--two creative spirits who don't adhere to convention or back down from any challenge when it comes to expressing who they are inside. They immerse themselves in the cultural and natural riches of Chicago to provoke joy and wonder in the everyday and to provide positive portrayals of women in media. There's not much these gals won't do "for real."

The Real Deal on the 15th

Molly and Libby are two best friends living in Chicago who support and challenge each other through absurd adventures. They've recently moved out of their shared apartment and are no longer roommates, but they make a pact to spend the day with each other on the 15th of each month, no matter what. A series of obstacles keep the girls apart, but will their pluck and determination get them back together before the end of the day?

Molly and Libby are stuck, creatively speaking. They decide to get the creative juices flowing by taking on a series of escalating artistic projects--nude figure drawing, nude painting. Their creative spark get the unwanted attention of their neighbors, and the girls have to decide what to do when confronted by a quickly forming group in their backyard.

Molly and Libby are faced with the problem of marriage--Libby is single and Molly's boyfriend hasn't popped the question yet. Rather than wait for someone else to come along with a proposal, the girls plan an elaborate home ceremony to marry each other, complete with a wedding planner, cake, and a tuxedo and wedding dress two-in-one combination for each of them. It's the most special day of this real deal friendship!
