An observational documentary series going behind-the-scenes at two of the UK's largest charity animal hospitals in Kirkdale and Huyton on Merseyside. Both are operated by the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) one of Britain's largest animal charities that offers free or reduced cost treatment for the pets of people who may otherwise struggle to pay expensive vet bills. Across the series viewers will meet some of the staff at Kirkdale and Huyton, their patients and the owners of those patients.
