In order to take care of his own people, Marcel decides to ally with Klaus, even if he is going to lose Rebekah again. Camille realizes that she is being compelled by Klaus, but Klaus compels her to forget about him and to leave New Orleans. After Klaus proved him wrong, Elijah feels sorry for his accusations and Klaus is ready to have him and Rebekah back. Knowing that Agnes is already dead, Davina feels exploited by Marcel and decides not to let herself be controlled by anyone. Davina asks Camille for help but she has to fix her first, regardless the pain.

The Casket Girls

However when Rebekah attacks Genevieve, Clara oversees and Rebekah both infected them with the contagious bloody cloth, leaving them to die. In the present day, Genevieve reveals to Klaus about the betrayal of Marcel and Rebekah. Hayley on the other hand is on a mission of her own as she attacks Celeste and is looking for answers. When Klaus is freed and is on his way to punish Rebekah for her betrayal, Elijah comes in time to save both her and Marcel.

Instead, Klaus frees Rebekah and lets her live to finally live the life she always wanted.

At the Feast of the Blessings, Monique and Genevieve try to use the ceremony to teach Davina a lesson, but Klaus intervenes and gives Davina a surprisingly important gift. While Hayley struggles to decide where her loyalties should lie, the ceremony explodes into violence."
