Felix told Emily, who went to London for a career opportunity, that they will stay in touch no matter what time. Three months later, Felix is a wreck over Emily's absence. He even gets between Oscar and Charlotte. And when Emily tells him she won't coming home as scheduled, he freaks out especially when he learns she's hanging out with a guy. Charlotte complains that Oscar is not romantic with her. He tries to find a way to show her. And Felix decides to go to London to be with Emily but when he takes a pill, Oscar gave him to keep him calm while he's in flight, just as he's leaving, he's unable to go, so Oscar goes, forgetting about his date with Charlotte.

Food Fight

When Oscar learns that the bar where he likes to hang out, is facing closure, unless someone can invest to keep the bar open. And he knows Felix has money and wants to have his own restaurant so he agrees to invest. But when Oscar goes, he finds that Felix has made some changes, like he serves healthy food, whose taste doesn't appeal to Oscar. And he won't let sports be shown on TV and they no longer serve alcoholic drinks. Oscar decides to invite everyone who wants to watch the game at his place. And when Felix sees what's going on, he insists Oscar put a stop to it but Oscar refuses. They both later learn their plans were not well thought out.

Things between Oscar and Charlotte's son, Evan are improving. It's Halloween and Charlotte was going to take him trick or treating around the building but when she has to work, she tells Evan she'll drop him at her sister's to trick or treat. Oscar offers to take him but Charlotte doesn't think he's responsible enough to do it. Oscar asks her to let him try and she reluctantly agrees. When Felix learns of the trick or treating he doesn't approve of it. Oscar tells him, he needs to let his inner child out so he decides to throw his own Halloween thing which turns out to drive the kids away.

Oscar finds it hard to say something nice about Eisen so he decides to trash him. But Dani later learns that's what Eisen wants. Felix is still reeling from his break up with Emily and tries to cope.

Oscar takes in his agent Teddy, who has marital troubles with Diane, but Oscar's jewelry gift advice seems to backfire. Told he wasn't technically ever invited to move in at Oscar's, Felix packs his bags and moves in with his ex Emily and her 'new' roommate Dani, who moved from Oscar's, but Felix therapy doesn't help with their interior decoration clash. Both bunches land on the couch of the building's therapist, Christina, who takes credit for Felex and Oscar realizing why they all belong where they started, but still feels it's time to move away from the assorted fruitcakes.

In Christmas and Felix's mother is coming. And it drives Felix to make everything perfect because his OCD can be traced back to her always making sure everything is perfect. And Felix tries to make her Christmas cake to show her he can do it. But when she comes with her own cake, Felix feels like a failure. To help him Oscar asks everyone to come and all they want to do is leave and go to the bar. Oscar learns something which he reveals to Felix that proves his mom is not as perfect as she claims to be which leads to a confrontation.

Having fallen asleep from boredom attending a Shakespeare play with Charlotte, Oscar dreads part two enough to volunteer almost jealous Oscar as alternative cavalier, actually for all cultural events she buys tickets for. The rest of the gang is suckered into helping Emily grab a unique opportunity to supply Macy's with 100 necklaces she could never produce in time, only to find her an insufferable slave-driver. All desert after Oscar leaves, realizing he's in danger of loosing Charlotte as girlfriend, while Oscar can't stand the idea he's falling in love with his best friend's soulmate, which she rectifies at Oscar's zen retreat.

Should She Stay or Should She Go?

Felix is trying to get back into the game following his break up with Emily. When he doesn't have much luck, they suggest he go online. Oscar tells him he needs to go out and have a one night stand, which Felix is not into. He goes on a date but as usual he drives her away. But he hooks up with the waitress. The next day he serves her breakfast which Oscar says is a mistake because she refuses to leave. And when Oscar suggest something to Charlotte she freaks out.

Oscar reluctantly attends and sees a sportscaster and tries to approach him because he knows he's looking for a new partner. The guy's a church regular and Oscar pretends to be one. He then asks Oscar to join him for Bible study. Oscar fumbles around trying to show him he's religious. When Dani gets a chance to sing on TV Felix wants to be part of it, but they won't let him and Dani doesn't back him. Emily meets a guy at church and goes out with him, but he's celibate.

Conscious Odd Coupling

When Oscar and Felix go away fro a few days, they return to find the apartment in shambles. Apparently a bird flew in through the balcony door. And it was Oscar who was suppose to close it. Felix is so irate that he thinks they should no longer live together. Oscar moves in with Charlotte and Felix finds a new roommate Neil. But living with Charlotte doesn't work well and Neil makes Felix seem like a slob. Oscar wants to come back and Felix wants him but Neil won't leave.
