It turns out Walter was an impossible to please bully who hasn't changed enough not to cause Oscar to accidentally hit -despite coaching from Murph- the mascot Mr. Met and be forced to public groveling. Still Felix gets to enjoy a father-son reconciliation, and suffer suitable revenge.

Oscar thinks that he and Charlotte are already at the point in their relationship wherein they can get physical which he tries but she rebuffs him. Felix tells Oscar maybe he should consider taking things slow instead of just hopping into bed as he usually does. He considers it. But Charlotte runs into Dani and she tells Dani about Oscar wanting to do it but she didn't. She says she's not sure if she's ready following her divorce and Dani says Oscar is primed so she decides it's time. So when Oscar arrives for their date she wants to stay in and all Oscar can hear is Felix telling him to slow down. Lindsay's ex leaves their dog with her and Felix tries to get close to him but apparently the dog rebuffs him. He later tells Teddy he's afraid of dogs. So they try to find a way for Felix to face his fear.

When Oscar bumps into his rival Rich Eisen and when he gets under Oscar's skin, Teddy thinks they need do something. So they decide to broadcast from the bar.. And when Oscar trashes another city, a guy thee is from that city attacks Oscar. While Teddy takes Oscar to the hospital, he has Dani take over and she becomes a hit. Teddy convinces Oscar to let her join him on the air. But when she upstages him, he airs his dislike and Dani leaves. And Oscar finds it difficult to be without her but is unwilling to ask her to come back. And Felix is planning to surprise Emily by showing up naked but she was skyping with her mom and Felix walks in while she's online. And her mom tells Emily Felix is no good for her.

Because Felix ticked off the doorman, he reveals to the building manager that Oscar's wife is no longer living there. Because the lease is in her name, Oscar's rent needs to be raised and he needs to pay some back rent. Oscar tries to come up with it by gambling but loses. Teddy brings his son so that Felix can teach him chess. And when Oscar sees how good he is, he asks Felix to go out and play chess for money. Felix says he hasn't played for some time but Oscar begs him and he goes out and makes the money Oscar needs. But he keeps on playing that it affects his relationship with Emily. She does some checking and discovers why he gave up playing chess. They try to help him deal with it.

And he plans to make some changes that Oscar finds intrusive. So he decides to run himself and vows to leave the tenants alone. He wins and as he said he leaves them alone, but they don't leave him alone and he gets all sorts complaints and requests which he decides to ignore them but when Felix sees him do that, he offers to handle them.

The Ex-Factor

Oscar still yearns for Charlotte even though they broke up. So they think he should get out there and meet someone. Murph suggests online dating. So they put Oscar profile up and he gets a response. So they agree to meet at the bar. Emily informs Felix she's been offered a career opportunity that requires her to go to London fro three months and Felix tells her not to. Oscar discovers that the woman who agreed to meet him is Ashley, Felix's ex. At first they can\t stand each other but they come together when they talk about Felix. Ashley asks Felix to meet with her and they advise him not to tell Emily but he does and when she tells him not to go, she calls him a hypocrite.
