The Sleeping Beauty

Thu, Nov 30, 200644 mins

After Ryan's kind help to get out of her ill-considered French marriage, Taylor makes him her third consecutive 'possible' true love, smitten enough to call the moody mourner 'funny', and enforces 'ex' Seth's help to submit him to her 'sleep therapy', which only gives him a sleepless night with his eerily sharp free 'analyst'. Kaitlin's hunky 25 year-old tennis instructor, Spencer Bullit, is masterly stolen by mother Julie, whose sexy German twenty-something 'personal trainer' she has chased. Summer gets caught breaking into a university lab and confesses an illegal 'liberation' of lab rabbits which made no sense, and regrets covering for Ché when he betrays her to the school board to save his own skin. But Summer does keep one rabbit, a mobility obese white rabbit she named 'Pankakes'. At a fund-raiser for Sandy and Kiki's project, Julie charms Texan magnate Gordon Bullit into joining, then finds out that her jock lover, Spencer, is there as Kaitlin's date... and is Gordon's son. Taylor learns by accident Ryan is not interested in her, but Seth's amazement at her quitting makes her try again and win his friendship.

Texan tycoon Gordon Bullit is still after Julie Cooper, who tries to defuse him by double-dating with Kiki and (nobody asked him) Sandy, while Gordon's son, Spencer Bullit, turns up at the ladies' firm with a bunch of unexpected male paying clients. Kaitlin uses mother's absence to throw a pool party to outclass an arrogant in-crowd girl's posh party. There Ché, who fled Seth (who also turns up there) turns up, determined to get Summer to forgive him for her suspension from Brown, postponing her whole new life in Rhode Island, even if that takes handcuffing them two together. Kaitlin finds out Connor, her preferred playmate for seven minutes in a closet, is probably 'in the closet' despite his denial to be gay. Ryan knows for sure, finding the hunk enjoying himself butt-naked under the covers with- 'Taylor's' Roger.
