January 18, 2018; beloved mother and grandmother Ida Mae Ford is shot dead in the middle of a dark street near her home in Macon, Georgia. Law enforcement detectives race to track down the woman's elusive killer. A few weeks later, a shocking crime spree ultimately leads investigators to a suspect who confessed to Ida Ford's murder and also the shooting at Mercer University where students were frightened but nobody was hurt. Later in 2018, Quentin Sanders pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Isle of White, Virginia; on December 6, 2020, Isle of Wight Sheriff's Deputies discover 19-year-old Casey Dakota Cagle shot dead in his Mustang automobile inside a trailer park miles away from his home. As law enforcement detectives try to solve the mystery behind the murder, several key witnesses step forward to point the finger at different suspects. The investigators were able to solve this murder when the Franklin Police Officers arrested Jaylin Freeman, who pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder and was sentenced to 40 years in prison with 30 years suspended. His accomplice, Shamon Wilkerson, pleaded guilty to accessory and was sentenced to probation. Casey Cagle's grandfather, Buddy Cagle, appears on this show and speaks of his grief and heartache over the death of his much-beloved grandson.
