In 1893, four months after being acquitted for the murders of her parents, Lizzie plans to restart her life by staying in Fall River despite most of the public's hostility towards her. Agent Charles Siringo is determined to find the truth of Lizzie really is guilty. Meanwhile, William Almy demands payment of a debt and both of the Borden sisters are blackmailed by their half-brother.
