In the fall premiere, Ken Murray's guests include comic actors Herbert Marshall and Alan Young, British vocalist Anne Shelton, accordionist Oswald, actor Richard Webb, sword dancer James Jamieson and James Roach and his twelve bagpipers. Regulars include Darla Hood, Joe Besser, the Enchanters, and Jack Mulhall. Young is featured in a Scottish musical bit. Shelton sings "St. Louis Blues." Marshall performs in a dramatic sketch with Webb playing father and son physicians at a personal crossroads.

Mel Torme sings "Blue Moon" while impersonating other famous singers such as Perry Como, Billy Eckstine, Frank Sinatra, Frankie Laine, Ezio Pinza. Joe Besser and Ken Murray do a comedy routine regarding poetry. Darla Hood and Mel Torme sing "It's a Lovely Day". Van Heflin performs a dramatic scene titled "Between Americans" accompanied by dancers. Joe Besser in a comedic military skit. Tip, Tap and Toe perform an incredible dance routine on a table.

Ken Murray's guests are actress Ann Rutherford, band leader Kay Kyser, adagio dancers Les Zoris, George M. Cohan, Jr., and the West Point Cadet Color Guard with regulars Darla Hood, the Enchanters, Oswald, and pitchman Nelson Case. Ann Rutherford does a take-off on her old movie series with Murray playing Andy Hardy. Les Zoris do a jungle dance between a hunter and a leopard. Murray leads an extended tribute to West Point. Kyser joins in a tribute to the late George M. Cohan with Cohan's son portraying his late father.

Ken Murray's guests include actress/pianist Diana Lynn, singers Andy and Della Russell, sand sculptor Chief Churchill, flame juggler Truzzi, actor Lee Phillips, dancer Danny Negrin, and regulars Darla Hood, Tony Labriola, and the Enchanters. Russell does a medley of songs he's popularized, and performs impressions of other famous singers. Lynn stars with Phillips in a dramatic sketch ("Angel from Ohio") about Army nurses in Korea. She also plays "Warsaw Concerto" at the piano. Hood opens a "Pocahontas" production featuring Murray as John Smith. Labriola puts on a Santa suit for an "Oswald" bit with Murray.
