Mowgli and Bagheera are bored of Baloo's stories, so, Mowgli proposes a diving competition but he is captured by Jacala the crocodile who takes him into his swamp to use him as a bait for his five sons' hunting practice. During the practice, Mowgli is stuck into mud. Baloo and Bagheera have to find a plan to get him out of this sticky situation.

Who Is the Bravest?

Mowgli frightens his friends when he shows off by bungee jumping from a tree. His reckless behavior triggers a discussion about who is the bravest animal in the jungle. Mowgli endeavors to find out and goes to ask Hathi. Hathi answers Mowgli's question with another one: what is Mowgli afraid of? A puzzled and pre-occupied Mowgli falls down a well and finds himself trapped. He spends a cold and lonely night in the well until he is thrown a vine by Tabaqui. But the cunning jackal has tricked Mowgli, who finds himself face to face with Shere Khan. Hathi comes to Mowgli's rescue and Mowgli learns a valuable lesson: there are things he fears but he can face them with courage.

The Waterfall

During a big storm Bagheera and Mowgli are sitting in a tree admiring the view. Meantime Shere Khan and Tabaqui have hatched a plan to lure Bagheera away. Tabaqui tells the two friends that Baloo is being attacked by Shere Khan, but when Bagheera and Tabaqui arrive, Shere Khan leaves Baloo and disappears. A bolt of lightening strikes Mowgli's tree and he is thrown into the raging river. He finds himself facing the waterfall, a crocodile and Shere Khan, plus Tabaqui has also ended up in the water. Baloo and Bagheera arrive to save Mowgli, but he insists he has to help Tabaqui first. Mowgli and Tabaqui are dramatically rescued, while Shere Khan is swept over the falls.....but the tiger lives to tell the tale.
Episode 14
Darzi's Waterfall Rescue

Lali and Mowgli avoid Shere Khan as he follows their trail. Darzi passes a message to summon Baloo and Raksha to rescue the two as they have a tricking fight with Shere Khan.

Mowgli's Sparklie

Mowgli finds a golden scarab which he and Bala both like. They then compete with the Banderlogs and Shere Khan for it. After recovering it, Mowgli tosses the scarab down the waterfall.

Bagheeraomes along, smells a rat and helps Mowgli carefully walking into a trap after preparing plan B: Akela's pack.

The Day the Earth Shook

All the jungle animals are quiet, and it soon becomes clear why. There's an earthquake on its way! The quake causes chaos all over the jungle, especially at the wolves' lair where a rock-fall traps Bala and Lali. Raksha and Daruka do their best to shift the logs, but to no avail. They call on Mowgli, who realizes that a little lateral thinking is required.

The Jungle Tour

Mowgli tries to live alone. He is met by Ponya, a red panda. Mowgli shows Ponya around the jungle trying to keep her out of trouble but needs Baloo and Bagheera's help to save her from poisonous cobras.

The wolf pack gather, but Akela has been bitten by the Horror Cobra. With Ikii's help, Mowgli obtains a poison cure also having to fend off Phaona's hindrance.

The Bridge

Appu becomes hotheaded and goes off by himself after Hita wins a contest to see which of their trunks is longer than each other and gets stranded on a pillar in the Banderlog's lair. With the reluctant help of the Banderlogs, Mowgli and his friends build a bridge to rescue Appu.

Phaona's Nasty Trick

The wolf pack want to make Mowgli an honorary of the pack but Phaona, always jealous of Mowgli, is determined this won't happen. When the monthly meeting is held at Council Rock, Phaona tricks Mowgli into going to the Elephant March with a phony message for Hathi - who has no idea what Mowgli is talking about!

The Wishing Tree

The evil wolf Phaona does whatever he can to spoil Mowgli's chances of passing his hunting training, so that he'll never be good enough to hunt with the pack. Noticing Mowgli's disappointment, the sly jackal Tabaqui tricks him into thinking that a special wishing tree with solve all his problems. Mowgli is doubtful at first, but then decides it can't do any harm to make a wish. What he doesn't know is that Tabaqui is setting him up to be Shere Khan's next dinner.

While Mowgli gets Kaa's old skin to scare away Tabaqui. Hearing about Mowgli's trick, Shere Khan goes to get him, but the real Kaa saves Mowgli.

Mowgli discovers a rubber ball formed inside a hollow coconut and regards it as his personally. Shere Khan takes the opportunity to get Mowgli, but Bala and Lali save him.

Tabaqui tricks Mowgli into taking the Mother Cobra's egg. As the Mother Cobra corners Mowgli, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi comes to aid it.

While running from Shere Khan, Mowgli ends up in quicksand and Shere Khan refuses to save him. After Baloo and Bagheera pull him out, Mowgli feels angry, but can he learn to set a better example when Shere Khan is soon in danger himself?

Mowgli discovers a baby crocodile in a nest and takes him to the Friendly Area. Baloo insists that Mowgli returns the croc, now named Nibbly, to his home. Nibbly keeps following Mowgli until the boy gives in and takes the croc with him. Realising that he has other things to do Mowgli goes through a list of possible baby-sitters for Nibbly.

Mongoose on the Loose

Mowgli, Bagheera and Baloo visit Rikki Tikki Tavi's new den, but find him fighting a large cobra. Rikki Tikki not only hurts his paw but hurts his pride too. He should have been able to see off the cobra. Mowgli takes the mongoose off into the jungle to help him regain his strength, but all the mongoose does is manage to upset other jungle inhabitants with his aggressiveness.

River Leaf

Mowgli finds a mirror that has been dropped by a human, and Tabaqui becomes convinced there are more man-cubs lurking in the jungle than he originally thought.

Tabaqui attacks Mowgli and Rikki Tikki Tavi dives in to save him, but the animals begin to mock Mowgli for lacking bravery.

Phaona complains to the pack that Mowgli is taking a risk by getting close to the man village, and suggests he should be returned there. But Akela doesn't agree so Phaona talks Tabaqui into setting a meeting up with Shere Khan whom he tells of his plan to get rid of Mowgli and Akela at the same time.

Ponya runs for her life when lightning causes a fire in the mountains, and Tabaqui lures her into Shere Kahn's territory.

The Buffalo

Mowgli and Bagheera come across a female buffalo that has a very sick son. Mowgli offers help, but the problem is Mowgli can't remember which berry is the right one to give to the young calf. Darzee is sent to ask Baloo. Meanwhile, Tabaqui has altered Shere Kahn to the plight of the buffaloes and they plot to get the calf and Mowgli at the same time.

The Elephant's Secret

Mowgli the Artist

Mowgli learns to paint and Darzee is so impressed she says that he'll soon be King of the Jungle. Tabaqui hears the gossip and tells Shere Kahn. Kahn threatens Mowgli but when he attacks he actually attacks the self portrait of Mowgli on the rock, loses his balance, humiliates himself and slopes off back to his lair.

Bagheera goes missing, and a strange panther-like creature begins attacking animals in the human village.

Darzee wants to be brave and strong like the other big birds, but they have little faith in her. Mowgli, Baloo, and Bagheera take her with them and soon need her help.

The Tooth of the Matter

There seems to be a strange and frightening monster at large in the jungle. It turns out to be Jakala, who is suffering from a terrible toothache. Mowgli alleviates Jakala's pain by means of some 'adhoc' dentistry. When Shere Kahn goes in search of Mowgli and corners him near the river, it looks as though it's the end for the man-cub.

Mowgli is distressed when trees in the jungle are found covered in a lime green mold. Realising that their jungle could be wiped out if the mold spreads, Bagheera and Mowgli volunteer to go to the man village and get cedar oil, the only thing they know that will destroy the mold.

Mowgli and Bagheera try to find a missing monkey and reunite her with her baby.

Best in Class

Mowgli is jealous of Baloo's attention to Ponya. Tabaqui plays on this weakness not only to trap Mowgli but to lure Ponya into the Cold Lair, thereby delivering two meals to Shere Kahn. Baloo and Bagheera are worried about the missing pair, but even they are fooled when Tabaqui tells them he's seen Mowgli and Ponya on their way to the waterfalls.
Episode 51
The Monster of Cold Lair

It's hard work hunting and Tabaqui is fed up. He hatches a plan to steal meat from Bagheera's meat store and hide it in the Cold Lairs. To keep the monkeys away he howls terribly and frightens them rigid. They are convinced there is a monster in the Cold Lair. Mowgli, Baloo and Bagheera figure out who the culprit is and track Tabaqui down, warning him that he must never steal their meat again.
Episode 52
Baloo the King

Baloo gets hit on the head by a coconut and becomes convinced that he the King of the Jungle. Soon Baloo's delusions of grandeur start to get him into serious trouble so Mowgli plans to shock him back to reality by saying that Shere Khan has challenged him to battle. The plan backfires when Shere Khan issues a real challenge, which Baloo accepts.
